At Coeur, we PROTECT our people, places and planet, DEVELOP quality resources, growth and plans, and DELIVER impactful results through teamwork.</p><p><strong><u>About the Role</u></strong><br>Coeur Mining, Inc. is seeking a motivated undergraduate or graduate Health and Safety student to join our Corporate Health &amp; Safety team for the 2026 summer (May-August).</p><p>This internship offers the unique opportunity to support high-impact, strategic initiatives that influence safety culture across our organization. The intern will gain exposure to operations throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico while contributing to projects that help drive a safer workplace for all employees.</p><p><strong><u>What We&#39;re Looking For:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in <strong>Occupational Health &amp; Safety</strong> or other related degree path. (<em>GPA 3.0 or higher is preferred</em>)<ul type=\"disc\"><li>Preferred minor or focus area in <strong>Industrial Hygiene</strong> or <strong>Safety</strong>, with interest or relevant coursework in <strong>Media Production</strong>.</li></ul></li><li>US/Canada passport holder with the ability to travel consistently (up to 50%)</li><li>Ability to work from our Chicago corporate office or remotely</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills</li><li>Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to make a meaningful impact</li><li>Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the country of hire without requiring current or future sponsorship for employment.</li><li>Must be 18 years of age or older</li></ul><p><strong><u>What You&rsquo;ll Do:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Support corporate-level Health &amp; Safety initiatives and strategic projects</li><li>Assist with the development of safety programs, tools, and resources</li><li>Collaborate with teams across North America to strengthen safety culture and communication</li><li>Assist with building and enhancing Coeur&rsquo;s Occupational/Industrial Hygiene capabilities</li><li>Conduct IH fieldwork, including regular travel to mine sites to support air, noise, and other exposure sampling to protect worker health</li><li>Partner with other interns to create and present a group presentation highlighting a company area of improvement.</li><li>Contribute to industrial hygiene or safety-related assessments, research, and analysis (depending on background)</li><li>Create and produce multimedia content that enhances safety engagement and consistency across the company (if aligned with media experience)</li></ul><p><strong><u>What Will You Gain:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Hands-on experience with a corporate Health &amp; Safety team</li><li>Exposure to diverse operational environments in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico</li><li>Opportunities to contribute directly to high-visibility projects</li><li>Mentorship from experienced professionals and leaders in the field</li><li>Experience identifying and presenting on a company Business Improvement initiative&nbsp;</li><li>Career Exposure in your area of discipline, and beyond&nbsp;</li><li>Internship Summit trip to our corporate office in Chicago, IL</li><li>Generously paid internship opportunity $27.50/hour&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The salary offered for this role is $27.50 USD per hour.
