What we're looking for The ideal candidate will have solid MIG and TIG welding experience and enjoy working independently. Second shift hours are Monday through Friday, 2 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Job Summary Set-up and finish weld a wide variety of weldments with various processes and equipment, including robotic/semi-automatic manufacturing cells. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Fit, align and weld or tack weld metal parts together following welding procedure specifications. Use jigs and holding fixtures where available to location and position pieces and materials. Efficiently produce quality welds. Inspects completed welds for defects and measures workpieces to ensure conformance with specifications. Perform or assist with post weld cleanup, inspection and repair. Perform setup in robotic/ semi-automatic welding equipment and make offsets, alignment, and parameter changes as needed to meet weld quality requirements.
