This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Lanes Group, working closely with one of our most exciting clients and contributing to their objectives.</p>\n<p>As a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ironworks Supervisor</span>, you will be working to meet the needs of the client’s SLA’s in the most productive and cost-effective manner. You will be helping to provide technical expertise, experience, and work within a team to deliver a first-class service to our customers.</p>\n<p> <em>  </em></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the role</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Location: Bradford </p>\n<p>Salary:  Up to £38,000 </p>\n<p>Working hours: 47.5 hours per week</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we offer:</span></span></p>\n<p><span>Pension</span></p>\n<p><span>Death in service</span></p>\n<p><span>Employee assistance programme</span></p>\n<p><span>Car Allowance / Company car</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will have operational responsibility for the Ironworks teams and their in-day activities.</li>\n<li>Oversee the replacement of manhole frames and covers efficiently, Excavate by hand, Replace gullies with precision and care. As well as Complete all types of reinstatements (paving, tarmac, concrete, etc.)</li>\n<li>Organise labour in the most cost-effective way, including recruitment, disciplinary action, wages, and absence management.</li>\n<li>You will manage all other resources e.g., sub-contractors, materials, and plant.</li>\n<li>Assist with carrying out team briefings with teams, on a monthly basis.</li>\n<li>Assisting in coaching and developing staff to reach their potential. Ensure a fair and consistent culture with the teams.</li>\n<li>You will help to assist the defect programme and ensure that KPIs are met and client meetings and council meetings are attended.</li>\n<li>Assist in carrying out documented audits, checking quality of the work and coaching teams/individuals to ensure the right behaviours are always exhibited.</li>\n<li>Liaise with the Support Services and Streetworks Team to ensure that FPN and Section74 liabilities are managed</li>\n<li>You will be required to assist the Ironworks manager by being a Health &amp; Safety Representative, which will include undertaking health &amp; safety inspections in and around the workplace, raising health &amp; safety related matters with management and investigating reportable accidents or incidents as and when they occur.</li>\n<li>Covering all aspects of reinstatements, including black top and white top.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">About You</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">We are looking for individuals who:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Possess previous experience of supervision within the Waste Water Industry </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Hold a full UK driving license</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span>This role is about managing people, so previous managerial experience is essential. We aspire to get the best out of all our employees &amp; you will be key to this! </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span>Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span>Exceptional customer service skills.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Have excellent time management skills, with ability to deliver tasks to deadline</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span>Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving targets.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span>A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span>Proven experience in a previous Supervisor Role within the Utilities Sector – preferably in the Drainage Industr</span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>In joining Sapphire Utility Solutions as part of the Lanes Group - the UK’s largest independent provider, we are committed to fostering a workplace culture that prioritises the well-being, growth, and safety of our employees.
