Description In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules. Align with and maintain areas to 5S standards. Segregate non-conforming materials according to work instructions. Maintain equipment with daily cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks. Produce quality parts/assemblies and eliminate the cost of non-conformance. Perform all required welding, paperwork, quality records, documents, etc. Align with all safety and work instructions. Maintain departmental housekeeping rules, standards, and clean/restock as the need arises. Reduce lead times and optimize production cycle. Maintain competitive cost associated to welding including labor, material, gases, consumables, tooling, inventory, etc. For This Role, You Will Need: High School diploma or GED required. Ability to stand on feet or sit for long periods of time; strength in arms and legs. Mechanical aptitude (demonstrated through interest or experience in areas such as automotive, construction, computers, etc.). Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and instructions. Ability to read and comprehend weld symbols. Use of weld measurement tools and gauges. Shop math and ability to complete calculations. Pass an entry level weld test regardless of your previous weld experience or certifications. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Accredited welding school or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment. 2 – 3 years proven experience working with in the welding industry.
