The ideal candidate will have a passion for backcountry skiing/splitboarding and a strong technical understanding of ski and snowboard equipment. They will have experience assisting customers select the best equipment for them as well as ensuring the equipment is set up correctly and safely. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Contract Period</span></span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">: November 2026 - March 2027</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Job Duties</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Prepare and maintain rental skis, snowboards, and associated equipment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Provide exceptional customer service by fitting customers with the appropriate equipment and answering their questions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Educate customers on the best use of equipment and care including a demonstration of skin application and removal and engagement/disengagement of touring mode  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Assist guests with any retail goods that they require and provide resort information to the guests</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Manage the rental shop inventory and ensure that all equipment is in good working condition</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Perform minor repairs and adjustments on skis and snowboards</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Comply with all area and industry procedures, regulations and company, store, and area policies and procedures</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Work as a team and assist other departments as needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Assist in daily set up and closing procedures of the store each day <br></span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">What You'll Need to Succeed</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Mainly a contagious love of skis/boards - fiddling with them, fixing them and riding them! Bring the stoke and these key things:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Technical:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Experience working in a ski/snowboard rental shop or backcountry ski/splitboarding shop</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Strong technical understanding of ski and snowboard equipment, including bindings, boots, and accessories</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Ability to perform minor repairs and adjustments on skis and snowboards</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Experience with frame/pin bindings and splitboards is advantageous but not essential. </span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Attitude:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Passion for backcountry skiing/splitboarding</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Excellent customer service skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Ability to work independently and as part of a team</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Strong attention to detail</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Employment Benefits</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">You are what makes Whiteroom Whiteroom.
