    "description_html": "<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>The Production Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Production Manager in maintaining a positive work environment, which provides our employees with an efficient and quality work environment. The Production Supervisor assists in training, product knowledge, line setups, verifies machine centerlines and encourages safe work practices while demonstrated commitment to the companies guiding principles. The position of Production Supervisor directly supervises the entire Production floor workforce during their shift.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities of the Position:</strong></p><p>Employee Safety</p><ul><li>Communicate safety as the number one priority for employees by encouraging safe work practices and immediately addressing safety concerns</li><li>Present weekly Toolbox Talks to all employees to help instill a constant safety-based mindset</li><li>Complete accident reports for all safety incidents and perform root cause analysis using 5 Whys method.</li><li>Monitor and ensure compliance with daily knife checkout log.</li><li>Participate in monthly safety meeting and submit a weekly safety observation to Safety department.</li></ul><p>Efficiency Monitoring</p><ul><li>Complete OEE/downtime reporting in Mongoose application throughout shift</li><li>Document machine settings and ensure they a compliance and use Forms application to track machine settings.</li><li>Summarize shift efficiencies and issues in daily downtime email.</li></ul><p>Production Duties</p><ul><li>Maintain a clean production floor with equipment, pallets, and personnel in proper positions.</li><li>Participate in site DDS meeting and production department DDS meeting.</li><li>Monitor job changeovers and complete checkweigher (machine) setups for new jobs</li><li>Approve and signoff on job changeovers with Sanitation and Quality Leads</li><li>Request, verify, and troubleshoot material availability thru proper ERP system</li><li>Submit Helpdesk tickets for IT, HR, Facilities related issues</li><li>Assist assistant supervisors with lot code checks during shift startup and or lot changes</li><li>Complete operations checklist for every line each day</li><li>Manage reworks by verifying that they are completed timely, accurately, and safely</li><li>Oversee waste control areas and ensure proper streams are followed by waste control personnel and line employees</li><li>Monitor and ensure meaningful value of bonus grids to confirm they provide the appropriate motivation for employees at the lines.</li><li>Maintain excellent communication with production teams on different shifts so accurate information is appropriately shared.</li><li>Assist with line trials when necessary.</li><li>Fill in for employees on the lines for bathroom breaks, trainings, personal issues, etc., when necessary</li></ul><p>Employee Management</p><ul><li>Maintain a positive work environment to ensure creative werks is the employer of choice for all employees.</li><li>Supervise activities of associate assistant supervisors, senior operators, team leaders/operators, and waste control personnel</li><li>Enforce disciplinary rules and actions for employees and report to MSI onsite and HR</li><li>Mediate and deescalate conflicts between employees at the lines</li><li>Manage all other employee issues, including personal, performance, attendance, etc and communicate actions taken with MSI onsite</li><li>Act as translator between employees who have difficulty communicating with each other</li><li>Approve final daily scheduling and assigning employees to lines and review accuracy of hours posted in Mongoose.</li><li>Monitor production indirect labor hours to ensure they meet budgeting standards and report to Production Manager</li></ul><p>Employee Training</p><ul><li>Continually coach and train assistant supervisors in new procedures and skills</li><li>Onboard new employees daily</li><li>Administer Alchemy training for all employees yearly</li><li>Continuously instruct Team Leaders and Operators by leading monthly training meeting and managing continued alchemy training for employees</li><li>Manage training of Team Leaders, Operators, general labor in new skills/tasks/job/policy requirements</li><li>Manage and approve new Team Leaders and Operators promotions thru set define 4 week Learning Plan</li></ul><p>Collaboration with other Departments</p><ul><li>Work together with personnel in various operations departments to ensure the production floor runs safely and efficiently</li><li>Communicate food safety concerns and potential quality issues with the Quality team</li><li>Work with Warehouse team to guarantee material is brought to lines in a timely manner and monitor accurate tracking of pallets (ghost pallets)</li><li>Collaborate with Sanitation team to provide employees for sanitations and changeovers</li><li>Inform Maintenance team of machine/equipment issues</li><li>Communicate with Supply chain about crew shortages and scheduling adjustments</li><li>Act as main line of communication with Client Services by filling out new item forms for new jobs, detailing BOM concerns, and explaining any other relevant information and escalating other issues thru proper communication channels.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by Management.</li></ul><p><br></p>",
