Transition Project Manager II’s may also bring a specific technical expertise, developed through “real time” project management experience required to perform a specific task order or project. You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Take accountability for development of project implementation plans</li>\n <li>Supervise and provide guidance to project staff in all matters involving written and verbal communication</li>\n <li>Communicate information at multiple levels within the client’s organization</li>\n <li>Coordinate and manage move vendor deliveries to ensure timely and accurate execution</li>\n <li>Provide onsite support during the physical relocation of staff, ensuring smooth transitions</li>\n <li>Support planning and execution of move logistics and sequencing</li>\n <li>Act as a key point of coordination for day-to-day move management activities</li>\n <li>Assist the project team with delivery and distribution of move material</li>\n <li>Play a critical role in a highly move-management-focused environment, ensuring efficiency and minimal disruption</li>\n <li>Operate with a high level of independence, serving as the local point of contact while collaborating with remote team members</li>\n <li>Establish project protocols for project specific types of documentation</li>\n <li>Plan and implement competitive procurements as required</li>\n <li>Prepare project monthly reports including costs, schedule, safety, etc.</li>\n <li>Monitor adherence to the contract</li>\n <li>Assert the authority and decision making required for managing the assigned project or project task</li>\n <li>Gain exposure to financial project management and accountability</li>\n <li>Provide direction to sub-contractors as required and consistent with the client’s direction</li>\n <li>Act as owner’s representative in managing onsite vendors during activation and move timeframes</li>\n <li>Supports a positive and inclusive work environment </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS or MS degree in related field</li>\n <li>3 - 7 years of project management or specialized experience</li>\n <li>Or equivalent combination of education and experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel Powerpoint, Project, Access, and Visio)</li>\n <li>Excellent listening skills</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Construction document and drawing literate with knowledge of all phases of construction</li>\n <li>Knowledge of BIM360, CADD, Bluebeam</li>\n <li>Detailed knowledge of at least one TPM market sector, such as healthcare, government/military, research and development/laboratory, or higher education</li>\n <li>Ability to travel and flexibility to work weekends and evenings as necessary</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>***The initial project is located in Sacramento, CA however, future assignments and for non-local candidates projects may require up to 60% travel.***</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.</p>\n<p>For Sacramento and Concord, CA this ranges from $85,000.00-$105,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
