Performs special cleaning projects as well as daily cleaning duties in accordance with standard procedures and objectives. Uses cleaning equipment, including electrostatic sprayers, automatic floor machines, commercial vacuums, wet mops, and other necessary equipment, tools, chemicals, and supplies. Disinfects of all high traffic areas.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p>General:</p><ul><li>Perform general clean-up of all areas of the building as directed.</li><li>Ensure facilities are maintained by cleaning and sanitizing wellness floors, counters, meeting rooms, bathrooms, break rooms and public areas.</li><li>Gather and empty trash and recycling. May include transporting trash from collection points to pick-up areas.</li><li>Sanitize metal fixtures or trimmings.</li><li>Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders, handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests, and tackle heavy cleaning jobs upon request.</li><li>Reports repairs and replacements needed when encountered on job.</li><li>Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately.</li><li>Follow all health and safety regulations.</li><li>Ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for upholding all staff safety requirements including cleaning protocols throughout the day, as required by my department.</li></ul><p>Branch Facilities:</p><ul><li>Disinfect counters and other high touch surfaces</li><li>Sweep and/or vacuum floors.</li><li>Spot-clean, sweep stairs, or shampoo carpets as needed.</li><li>Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.</li></ul><p>Bathrooms/Locker Rooms</p><ul><li>Clean counter, sinks, showers and drinking fountains, and surfaces.</li><li>Replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, hand sanitizers, etc.</li><li>Empty trash and sanitary bins.</li><li>Dust the fan/vent.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT &amp; PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</strong></p><ul><li>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
