          "text": "<p><strong><u>Overview:</u></strong>&#xa0;</p><p>The continuous improvement supervisor will be responsible in implementing structured problem-solving methodologies geared towards maximizing business performance, returning savings to the bottom line, and building organizational capability. Will assist the CI team build and demonstrate expertise in Lean/Toyota Production System (TPS) and Six Sigma.</p><p><u><strong>Here's what you'll do:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Develop skills to train other people (Train the Trainer)</li><li>Train employees in the use of Lean Manufacturing Tools</li><li>Work with Supervisors, Leads, and Managers to identify improvement opportunities</li><li>Schedule and manage Kaizen events/improvement projects</li><li>Lead Kaizen events applying the Lean Manufacturing Tools</li><li>Prepare reports on the training and Kaizen events and present them to the senior management.</li><li>Provide event follow-up to monitor the progress of planned improvement implementation to assure timely action, appropriate management support, and achievement of expected benefits.</li><li>Use appropriate measurement, analysis and evaluation methods to accurately identify and document process improvements.</li><li>Support improvements based on Business Intelligence environment</li><li>Keeps supervisor informed of all activities</li><li>Work closely with production, maintenance, farming, harvesting, and other support functions in developing and implementing solutions designed to reduce waste</li><li>Learn the Lean Manufacturing tools and processes: 8 Wastes,&#xa0;Flow,&#xa0;Pull/Kanban, Takt Time/Standard Work,&#xa0;Error Proofing,&#xa0;Structured Problem Solving (PDCA),&#xa0;Set-up Reduction,&#xa0;Value Stream Mapping,&#xa0;TPM,&#xa0;Business Intelligence</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><u><strong>Here's what you'll bring to the table:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Good communication skills.</li><li>Basic math skills.</li><li>Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.</li><li>&#xa0;Ability to effectively present information.</li><li>Bilingual, Spanish-English.</li><li>Minimum requirement of a college degree preferred (engineering preferred, chemical engineering, or industrial engineering strongly preferred).</li><li>Lean Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification preferred.</li><li>Practical application proficiency with mathematical statistics preferred.</li><li>Successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, able to achieve high impact in an unstructured&#xa0;environment.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with time management and the ability to be self-directed.</li><li>Demonstrated passion for solving problems and driving operational excellence.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field and minimum five (5) years of experience in occupational safety, Industrial hygiene, environmental health, or related fields.</li><li>Ability to perform financial calculations and create and manage budgets</li><li>Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.</li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee regularly is required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit.</li></ul>",
