    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p>Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking an experienced Neurologist for a position at Centrastate Hospital in Freehold, NJ</p><p>This is a per diem position&nbsp;</p><p id=\"isPasted\">We are only consult we do not admit patients to our service.</p><p>Technically round and go however they are averaging 17 patients a day.&nbsp;</p><p>12 hours shift based on a 7a-7p model.&nbsp;</p><p>$2400 per shift Independent Contractor rate.</p><p><br></p><p>As a Neurologist you will play a critical role in diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes by providing comprehensive neurological evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams. You will be responsible for staying current with advancements in neurology to apply evidence-based practices and innovative therapies. This role requires compassionate patient interaction, clear communication with families and healthcare providers, and a commitment to improving neurological health within the community. Ultimately, your work will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for patients facing complex neurological conditions at CSTMC.</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.</li><li>Completion of an accredited neurology residency program.</li><li>Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.</li><li>Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of New Jersey.</li><li>Demonstrated clinical experience in diagnosing and managing neurological disorders.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Fellowship training in subspecialties such as stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, or neurocritical care.</li><li>Experience working in a hospital or multidisciplinary clinical setting.</li><li>Research experience or publications in neurology-related fields.</li><li>Advanced certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).</li><li>Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used at CSTMC.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct thorough neurological examinations and assessments to diagnose a wide range of neurological disorders.</li><li>Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication management, therapy recommendations, and surgical referrals when necessary.</li><li>Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals such as primary care physicians, neurosurgeons, physical therapists, and nurses to ensure coordinated patient care.</li><li>Interpret diagnostic tests including MRI, CT scans, EEG, and EMG to inform clinical decisions.</li><li>Provide patient education and counseling regarding neurological conditions, treatment options, and prognosis.</li><li>Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to advance neurological care at CSTMC.</li><li>Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies.</li></ul></div></div></div></div>\n",
