Hunt entered the oil and gas business in El Dorado, Arkansas, and later played an active role in developing the East Texas Oil Field from the drill test of the Daisy Bradford #3.</p><p>Today, Petro-Hunt is a Top 10 Private Liquids Producer in the U.S. with operations in six states. &nbsp;We are more than just an oil and gas company -- Petro-Hunt actively purchases minerals and royalties, owns and operates a gas processing facility, is part owner of an oil refinery, actively invests in real estate development, and operates a private equity alternative investment division.</p><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Job Description:</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Entry level position responsible for supporting the drilling team in a combined effort for a safe and efficient drilling program.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Analyze data of current and historical drilling operations for continuous improvement efforts.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist Drilling Engineer with industry research as well as potential acquisitions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work closely between various departments to streamline the planning and permitting processes.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain well files and associated drilling documents in an organized and thoughtful manner.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work closely with IT and Engineers to help support operations with necessary hardware and software.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Attend high level planning meetings and help maintain a clean and detailed rig schedule for company wide distribution.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist Drilling Engineer in the well design process&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work closely with Engineers and HSE to maintain and review all MSAs, contracts, insurance, and other pertinent safety documents.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Combine and file various quarterly and yearly reports. <strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum educational requirement is 2 years of college with preference given to a full degree.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Preference given to work experience in the oil and gas industry, especially related to drilling or associated regulatory agencies.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have good computer skills and working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
