The role of </span><strong>Collector</strong><span style=\"color: black;\"> is a pretty big deal; you'll be ensuring our members have an experience that involves our 4 Pillars of service: <strong>engaging</strong> with your members, having their needs <strong>evaluated</strong>, being <strong>educated</strong> and providing an <strong>enriching</strong> interaction!</span>&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Whether in person, on the phone or via email, we strive to create an amazing experience for every member</span> &amp; team member<span style=\"color: black;\"> in the departments we serve; every interaction, every time. Most importantly, we are looking for a </span><strong>Collector</strong><span style=\"color: black;\"> with a <strong>heart for helping people</strong>. After all, our goal is to win Kansas City and make it a better place to live, work and bank!</span>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The <strong>Collector </strong>is<span style=\"color: black;\"> responsible for contacting our members in an effort to assist them in resolving their negative, delinquent or defaulted accounts. Your efforts will help us maintain a financially sound loan portfolio through delinquency control and loss recovery. When reaching our members, whether through phone calls, collection letters or in</span>-<span style=\"color: black;\">person interviews, you will strive to help them better their financial lives. </span>&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px;\"><br> <span style=\"color: black;\"><strong>R</strong></span><strong>OLE &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">Interview members to determine reason for delinquency.      Take appropriate action to resolve the account, which may include loan      modifications or loan workouts&nbsp;</li>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">Counsel members concerning their financial obligations,      advises of options &amp; solicits agreements of payments&nbsp;</li>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">Respond to member inquiries by phone and in person,      which could include:&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">Requests to transport collateral out-of-country&nbsp;</li>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">CPI claims&nbsp;</li>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">GAP and other dealer-sold insurances&nbsp;</li>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">NADA values&nbsp;</li>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">Address update&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">Recommend further action as deemed necessary (i.e.      repossession, legal action, foreclosure, referral to collection agency)&nbsp;</li>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">Demonstrates judgment and discretion within the      framework of all applicable regulations and policies&nbsp;</li>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">Monitor and process loan payoff information and provide      this communication to dealerships, insurance companies and all appropriate      parties in an accurate and timely manner&nbsp;</li>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">Complies with applicable laws &amp; regulations,      including but not limited to:&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">Bank Secrecy Act&nbsp;</li>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">USA Patriot Act&nbsp;</li>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">Office of Foreign Assets Control&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">Ensure member files are kept updated and complete; all      required documents are filed&nbsp;</li>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">Assist other departments &amp; branches, as needed&nbsp;</li>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">Provide support for others in the Collections      department&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px;\"><span style=\"color: black;\"><strong>EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS </strong></span>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">High      school diploma or GED required&nbsp;</li>\n<li style=\"margin-left:-18px;\" dir = \"auto\">1-12 months of similar or related experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: black;\">Since we want to create an amazing member and team member experience, we need you to have a heart for helping people and be ready to support a like-minded team!
