    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>The Director of Residential and Day Services provides strategic leadership for Racker’s Residential, Free-Standing Respite, and Day Programs, ensuring alignment with the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values. The Director is responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery through effective oversight of operations, budgets, staffing, and regulatory compliance. This position promotes a culture of ethical practice, accountability, and staff wellbeing. With a strong commitment to learning, innovation, and continuous improvement, the Director leads program development and adaptation to meet evolving needs, integrates best practices in IDD services, and drives measurable outcomes for individuals and families.  Through supportive leadership and cross-functional collaboration, the Director builds and sustains strong teams, cultivates community partnerships, and ensures fiscally sound, effective, and mission-driven services. This position supervises three Assistant Directors and reports to the Associate Executive Director. The Director has overall oversight of 26 IRAs and approximately 300 staff.  We are seeking a candidate with experience managing large-scale human services operations, including oversight of 24/7 residential programs. Experience with OPWDD programs is preferred.   \n<p><strong>Salary Range:</strong> $110,000 - $125,000</p>\n<p>Relocation assistance available. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Our competitive benefits</strong> include a continuum of health care options for families and individuals, funding and time for continuing education, retirement investment with employer match, paid vacation for school holidays and breaks, paid sick time, and a 20% discount on childcare services for children/grandchildren of full time staff.</p> \n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide direction and leadership for all residential sites in line with Racker’s Mission, Vision, and Values </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain positive, collaborative, and future focused program environment </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure person-centered and family-focused service provision  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Analyze and review the department’s functions for the purpose of ensuring alignment with programmatic goals, effectiveness, and efficient, fiscally sound operations </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop systems, policies, procedures to meet quality standards established by program and regulatory requirements and to promote continuous improvement in service delivery </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop team of leaders and managers within the program to meet established supervisory expectations and programmatic goal achievement </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee innovative, full-time community-based day programming. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee budget and resource allocation for Residential and Day Services </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Adapt programming as needed to meet the needs of service recipients. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain knowledge of current best practices in IDD service provision, technology, and upcoming regulatory changes impacting services within the purview of the department </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as a resource for program staff, program participants, care managers, and families   </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Assess and implement new program development and expansion </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Promote positive relationships within the department’s team, collateral agencies, families, and community </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and cultural competence in all aspects of service delivery for participants and employees. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Education/Certification:  </strong>Bachelor’s Degree in from an approved program in a relevant field, QIDP </li>\n <li><strong>Experience: </strong>Minimum of three years in Residential Management; demonstrated management/supervisory experience </li>\n</ul>",
