    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><strong><u><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">POSITION SUMMARY:</span></u></strong>&#160;</span></p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">The Infant Mental Health Therapist works as a member of a team with program staff and community sources to provide a continuum of services to young children (</span></span>0 - 6 years old) <span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">and their families in an effort to strengthen and preserve families, assist in identifying individual needs, and provide and assist in coordinating services to meet each individual's needs.</span></span></p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">&#160;</p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><strong><u><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE:</span></u></strong></span></p>\n\n<ul style=\"list-style-type:square;\">\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">A Master&#8217;s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related Human Service field is required.</span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Registration/licensure (Limited/Full) as a social worker, counselor, or psychologist in the State of Michigan required.</span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Minimum&#160;1 year direct clinical experience in providing therapy services to young children (0- 6 years old)&#160;and their families is&#160; required (includes postgraduate&#160;level internship experience).</span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">An Infant Mental Health certification and/or endorsement is preferred. A waiver to provide&#160;clinical services to birth to three population provided by employer to work towards endorsement.</span></span></span></li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>&#160;</p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"background-color:#ffffff;\"><strong><u><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"color:#444444;\">DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></span></u></strong></span></span></p>\n\n<ul style=\"list-style-type:square;\">\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"background-color:#ffffff;\"><span style=\"color:#444444;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">Provide parent-child relationship focused therapy and case management services within the home and community settings for pregnant women, fathers, and young children birth to age six.</span></span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"background-color:#ffffff;\"><span style=\"color:#444444;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">Conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment planning with measurable objectives.</span></span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"background-color:#ffffff;\"><span style=\"color:#444444;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">Provide support and crisis intervention with families and children involved with the program.</span></span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"background-color:#ffffff;\"><span style=\"color:#444444;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">Assist in coordination and referrals of support services for the family.</span></span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"background-color:#ffffff;\"><span style=\"color:#444444;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\">Provide parent education and guidance.
