In addition to supervision exercised, the Nurse Supervisor is expected to maintain competencies required of a nurse to be able to assume patient care duties when needed. The Nurse Supervisor leads all back-office processes and is tasked with implementing changes based on standard of care, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement initiatives. The Primary Care nurse supervisor serves as the first point of contact on scheduled days for their staff and requires their regular in-person presence.&nbsp;</span></p>\n\n<p><span style=\"background-color:#ffffff\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><strong><span style=\"color:#222222\">What You&#39;ll Do:</span></strong></span></span></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Works directly with the clinic manager to review ongoing assignments and evaluate priorities.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Demonstrates a complete understanding of and supervises all back office functions in the Family Medicine Clinic (intake, medication refill/administration, message pools, etc.). This includes routinely working side by side staff and serves in their role to remain close to the work, to guide educational opportunities and workflow adjustments.&nbsp;</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Prepares staff schedules and assignments at least one month in advance, and according to budget and operational need; where appropriate flexes staff according to budget.&nbsp;</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Reviews Family Medicine Clinic staff timecards, corrects errors, and approves timecards according to policy.&nbsp;</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Independently manages various personnel functions including, but not limited to, hiring, training, competency validation, performance appraisals, promotions, transfers, and schedules.&nbsp;</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Conducts annual competency training and evaluations for clinical staff (including CA, MA, LVN and RN competencies).</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Develops and updates onboarding task lists, including policies and procedures to review</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Conducts regular team meetings with staff to roll out new processes, improve upon existing processes and provide team wide updates.
