    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\">Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking a Design Engineer to join our team in Watertown, SD. &nbsp;In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing products and components from concept to production. This role requires strong CAD skills, engineering fundamentals, and a problem-solving mindset to bring innovative ideas to life.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Prepares engineering analysis of projects to include preliminary design, calculation, life cycle cost and equipment selection.</li><li>Prepare and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, and other visual aids.</li><li>Prepare technical construction specifications.</li><li>Perform mechanical engineering duties surrounding the following: mechanical devices, components, engines, motors, machine tools, robots, automated manufacturing equipment and power producing machines.</li><li>Manage construction document printing process.</li><li>Review and critique proposed changes to engineering standards, policies, or details.</li><li>Review development plans for compliance with adopted engineering standards and good engineering practices.</li><li>Manage project issues, budgets, and schedules.</li><li>Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using software such as SolidWorks.</li><li>Support prototype fabrication and testing efforts.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and sourcing to ensure design intent is maintained through production.</li><li>Conduct engineering analysis (FEA, thermal, stress, etc.) to validate designs</li><li>Provide technical presentations to customers and staff as required.</li><li>Function as chief inspector on engineering projects.</li><li>Provide on the job training to new staff.</li><li>Ability to do electrical design is plus&nbsp;</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Qualifications</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>4 year university engineering degree or 2 year tech school degree&nbsp;</li><li>Work requires advanced math skills, special relationship abilities, and the ability to understand abstract principles behind math and physics.</li><li>Job may require travel to meetings, site visits, and inspections.</li><li>Work requires willingness to work to a flexible schedule.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing within the department and other areas of the Company as necessary.</li><li>Ability to interpret and work from oral and written instructions.</li><li>Ability to legibly document data for record keeping purposes.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in effectively working with co-workers.</li><li>Ability to remain calm and professional during peak periods of activity.</li><li>Knowledge of organizational methods and the ability to manage multiple tasks/duties simultaneously.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Pivotal Health Solutions offers a complete benefits package including 401K, paid time off, paid holidays and healthcare benefits.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. &nbsp; The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required. &nbsp; Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
