You will design a classroom environment that is both motivating and stimulating for students.&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>Your Responsibilities Will Include:</strong></span></p><ul><li>Provide weekly written plan to the administrator electronically</li><li>Design lesson plans based on the Units of Study, Creative Curriculum, and the diagnostic information from the IEP</li><li>Maintain periodic progress reports (Gold Teaching Strategies)</li><li>Attend CPSE/CSE meetings at appropriate time intervals during the school year</li><li>Implement behavioral system based on the Positive Discipline policy and PBIS</li><li>Assure daily attendance records are maintained and submitted appropriately throughout the school year</li><li>Submit Progress reports and annual reports at appropriate times throughout the school year</li><li>Attend staff and classroom meeting and parent teacher conferences</li><li>Assure that all students are supervised at all times in safe, clean environment</li><li>Attend 4 staff developments days throughout the school year</li><li>Establish and maintain a respectful work environment with co-workers, parents, and visitors to the program</li><li>Supervise classroom staff assigned to your classroom</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>You're a great fit for this role if you have:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"line-height:normal;\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif;\">Master’s degree and NYS certification or be working on a study plan toward certification&nbsp;</span></li><li style=\"line-height:normal;\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif;\">Minimum 2 years of relevant experience</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><ul><li>60,000-75,000&nbsp;(depending on credentials and experience)</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Who We Are</strong></p><p>Easterseals is a standard-bearer for creating equity and access for people with disabilities and other barriers to long term self-sufficiency.
