If you thrive on complex, hands-on engineering projects and want to see your designs come to life, this is the role for you.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>The Impact You Will Have:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Drive Design Excellence:</strong>&nbsp;Lead the development and execution of I&amp;C design packages for critical facility and process systems, including control panels, PLC/DCS/SCADA interfaces, and complex network integration.</li>\n <li><strong>Define Control Strategy:</strong>&nbsp;Translate operational requirements into actionable control narratives, functional specifications, cause-and-effect matrices, alarm strategies, and rigorous test plans (FAT/SAT/Commissioning).</li>\n <li><strong>Technical Documentation:</strong>&nbsp;Develop and manage I/O lists, wiring diagrams, interconnects, termination drawings, and instrument data sheets, ensuring complete traceability.</li>\n <li><strong>Instrument Specification:</strong>&nbsp;Select and integrate field instrumentation (pressure/flow/temp/level, analyzers, control valves, VFDs) to ensure optimal performance, accuracy, and environmental compatibility.</li>\n <li><strong>Field Support &amp; Troubleshooting:</strong>&nbsp;Provide direct, hands-on support for controls implementation, including field walkdowns, loop checks, calibration, and commissioning.</li>\n <li><strong>Cross-Functional Coordination:</strong>&nbsp;Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and structural teams to integrate power, grounding, and layout constraints into safe, constructable designs.</li>\n <li><strong>Configuration Management:</strong>&nbsp;Maintain strict configuration control, generating accurate redlines, as-builts, and turnover documentation.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>We’d Love to Hear From Candidates With:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Experience:</strong>&nbsp;5+ years proven experience in I&amp;C design, troubleshooting, and support of facility/process control systems.</li>\n <li><strong>Technical Knowledge:</strong>&nbsp;Strong understanding of PLC/DCS/SCADA systems, instrumentation specification, and industrial control networking.</li>\n <li><strong>Regulated Environment Familiarity:</strong>&nbsp;Experience working in highly regulated industries (e.g., nuclear, chemical, defense) with a strong,, proactive safety culture.</li>\n <li><strong>Technical Tools:</strong>&nbsp;Proficiency in engineering software for drawing creation and documentation (e.g., AutoCAD, SmartPlant, or similar).</li>\n <li><strong>Education:</strong>&nbsp;Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.</li>\n <li><strong>Clearance:</strong>&nbsp;Ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” clearance</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><i>In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.</i></p>\n<p><i>This position will require a pre­-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.</i></p>\n<p><i>Centrus Energy and all subsidiaries shall abide by the applicable legal requirements.
