In addition, the Assistant Director will conduct quality assurance and quality improvement programs for all crisis triage, evaluation, intake, and admission services.</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Conway Behavioral Health Hospital</strong> is a premier source of inpatient and outpatient mental health services for individuals and families throughout the Little Rock North Metro area. Our facility in Conway, Arkansas, provides comprehensive, personalized care for adolescents and adults of all genders who have been struggling with mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). We also care for individuals who have a primary mental health diagnosis and a co-occurring substance use disorder. Depending on each person's specific needs, treatment at Conway Behavioral Health Hospital may include, basic medical care, medication management, individual therapy, family therapy, several types of group therapy, and multiple experiential therapies.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>https://www.conwaybh.com/?utm_medium=referral&utm_source=Acadia%20Locator</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><strong>Conway </strong></strong><strong>Behavioral Health is </strong><strong>currently seeking a dynamic and compassionate Intake Supervisor </strong>to join our team and direct the facility admissions activities by driving the admissions process, developing, implementing and maintaining revenue-generating strategies.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide leadership to the Admissions Department and cultivate the function of the department as an integrated team.</li>\n <li>Implement the strategic plan of the business development and marketing department as it pertains to admission to the facility and direct potential clients to treatment.</li>\n <li>Provide leadership in addressing quality management issues related to crisis triage, evaluation, intake, and admission to the facility.</li>\n <li>Assign/distribute scheduled evaluations, intakes, or admissions as dictated by request and hospital census.</li>\n <li>Conduct quality assurance and quality improvement programs for all crisis triage, evaluation, intake, and admission services.</li>\n <li>Perform follow-up communication functions and generate recommendations for organizational leadership.</li>\n <li>Provide orientation, in-service, and continuing education programs for department staff and other internal positions responsible for crisis triage and/or evaluation services.</li>\n <li>Serve as a clinical liaison with referral sources.</li>\n <li>Work to improve efficiency and quality in delivering services within the department, responsible for developing and meeting departmental goals and objectives.</li>\n <li>Ensure that the department is up to date on and compliant with new laws and regulations.</li>\n <li>Train and supervise staff.</li>\n <li>For assigned shift will plan, assign, supervise, and perform required duties to ensure patient safety and the efficiency of the department.</li>\n <li>Prioritization of potential admissions, considering patient needs and the facility’s capability and capacity to meet that needs in the most appropriate manner.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of appropriate clinical assessment, diagnoses, and interventions with patients.</li>\n <li>Provide guidance and direction to staff and encourage/build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.</li>\n <li>Ensure that EMTALA log, if applicable, is completed for each patient seen by admissions.</li>\n <li>Participate in staff training by serving as a preceptor for new admission team employees.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers always.  When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.
