This role ensures all items meet company quality standards, comply with packing and labeling requirements, and are handled in accordance with safety regulations so that products arrive in excellent condition.</p><p><br></p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><h4><strong>1. Packing &amp; Labeling</strong></h4><ul><li>Assemble and pack items according to standard operating procedures..</li><li>Apply shipping labels and documentation accurately.</li><li>Ensure packages are properly sealed and protected to prevent damage in transit.<br></li></ul><h4><strong>2. Quality Assurance</strong></h4><ul><li>Inspect products and packaging for defects, damage, or inaccuracies before packing.</li><li>Verify the correct quantity and type of items are included in each order.</li><li>Safeguard accuracy by ensuring prescription and shipping labels correspond without discrepancy</li><li>Report discrepancies or quality issues promptly to a supervisor.<br></li></ul><h4><strong>3. Material Handling &amp; Inventory Support</strong></h4><ul><li>Alert production specialist to replenish packing supplies such as boxes, tape, and cushioning materials.</li><li>Assist with counting, organizing, and maintaining stock as needed.<br></li></ul><h4><strong>4. Workplace Organization &amp; Safety</strong></h4><ul><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.</li><li>Follow company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).</li><li>Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions immediately.</li><li>Work collaboratively with co-workers to maintain efficiency and workflow.<br></li></ul><h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li>Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Experience: Prior warehouse or packing experience is helpful but not required (training provided).</li><li>Skills &amp; Abilities:</li><li>Ability to follow written and verbal English instructions accurately.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.</li><li>Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Essential Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to stand for at least <strong>8 hours at a day</strong> and up to <strong>10 hours per day</strong> during peak periods.</li><li>Must be able to lift <strong>up to 30-50 pounds</strong>.</li><li>Must perform repetitive motions for an entire shift (bending, reaching, lifting, scanning labels, packing boxes).</li><li>Must be able to work onsite for all scheduled shifts.</li><li>Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and moderate noise.</li><li>Basic proficiency with computer systems and digital tools relevant to daily operations.<br></li></ul><h3><strong>Working Environment</strong></h3><ul><li>Location: On-site</li><li>Schedule: Full-time</li><li>May require additional availability or flexibility for escalations.</li><li>Warehouse environment with potential exposure to dust, temperature fluctuations, and loud equipment.</li><li>PPE is provided and required when applicable.<br></li></ul><h3><strong>Employment Classification</strong></h3><p><strong>Status:</strong> Full-time / Part-time / Temporary <em>(to be determined)</em><br><strong>FLSA:</strong> Non-exempt (eligible for overtime pay)</p><h3><strong>Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Statement</strong></h3><p>Gifthealth is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
