In this position, you will provide nursing care to patients by assessing, planning, educating, implementing, and evaluating age-appropriate care that incorporates family-centered principles and cost-effective care.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Think you’ve got what it takes?</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Assists in the collection of patient/family data that may include biophysical, psychosocial, developmental, cultural, and environmental information per site protocol</p><p>Collects and documents vital signs, height/weight and reason for visit &nbsp;</p><p>Prepares patient for examination per site protocol</p><p>Assists provider, as directed, during treatments, examinations and testing as directed by provider and within scope of site</p><p>Administers medication and immunizations as directed by physician per site protocol &nbsp;</p><p>Documents administration of medication and immunizations in the medical record per site protocol</p><p>Provides patient/family education as instructed by the physician or site protocol</p><p>Documents such education in the medical record</p><p>Coordinates referrals &nbsp;</p><p>Triages presenting patient complaint per site protocol &nbsp;</p><p>Verifies provider order and patient per site protocol &nbsp;</p><p>Collects and processes specimen according to manufacturer’s instructions and using proper technique &nbsp;</p><p>Demonstrates service philosophies to patients and families</p><p><i>As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.</i></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Skills &amp; Requirements</strong></p><p>Bachelor's degree in nursing or one of the following: &nbsp;</p><p>Associate degree in nursing/related field accepted by the Texas Board of Nursing for the purposes of obtaining and maintaining an RN license with acceptance or current enrollment in a BSN program and a signed agreement &nbsp;</p><p>Technical Diploma in Nursing with acceptance or current enrollment in a BSN program and signed agreement &nbsp;</p><p>Must be currently enrolled in A Nursing Bridge Program working toward an MSN. Verified BSN-equivalency or a signed agreement is required. &nbsp;</p><p>RN License – Texas Board of Nursing or Nurse Licensure Compact</p><p>Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required &nbsp;</p><p>9 Months Professional Nursing Experience Required &nbsp;</p>",
