Apply Today!!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Competitive Wages and Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Health/Dental/Vision/Prescription</li>\n <li>Company paid life and disability insurance</li>\n <li>401(k) with Company Match</li>\n <li>Paid Vacation</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement</li>\n <li>Advancement Opportunities</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Plant Engineer responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Determining the long-range mechanical plans for the plant</li>\n <li>Providing management support for the Maintenance Supervisors</li>\n <li>Facilitating planning functions by managing the MLS Planner</li>\n <li>Managing and monitoring plant maintenance expenditures</li>\n <li>Providing continuous review and evaluation of PMs and SOPs</li>\n <li>Determining the appropriateness of all new work orders</li>\n <li>Managing the capital projects</li>\n <li>Providing for an atmosphere of continuous process improvement</li>\n <li>Providing management with necessary performance information</li>\n <li>Assuming the responsibilities of the supervisor in his/her absence</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This is a safety sensitive position.  This is an on-site position.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualified candidates for the Plant Engineer position should possess the following:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum five years management experience in food industry maintenance.  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related degree with advanced work in electrical and hydraulics preferred</li>\n <li>Excellent administrative and follow up skills to achieve successful maintenance and repair programs</li>\n <li>Must have refrigeration system knowledge</li>\n <li>Must be computer literate; experienced in using computer software applications such as CAD and Microsoft Office applications</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Strong time management and project scheduling skills</li>\n <li>Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Must be at least 18 years of age or older.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.</p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>National Beef is a leader in producing fresh, chilled and further processed beef products for customers in the U.S. and worldwide.
