Flights and oil sands camp accommodation are provided, with travel originating from Calgary, Edmonton, or Fort McMurray.</span></p><hr><p><span><strong>Your Impact</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span>Champion a strong safety culture by actively promoting and following WSP’s Health and Safety policies and Life Saving Rules.</span></li><li><span>Execute geotechnical and environmental field programs including drilling, soil sampling, test pitting, and on‑site monitoring.</span></li><li><span>Collect, manage, and maintain accurate field data, logs, and testing documentation.</span></li><li><span>Support laboratory and field testing programs that inform design and construction decisions.</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve field‑related issues efficiently.</span></li><li><span>Contribute to the successful delivery of a multi‑year, high‑profile oil sands project.</span></li><li><span>Represent WSP on site with professionalism, technical competence, and integrity.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><hr><p><span><strong>The Skills That Set You Apart</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span>A Civil Engineering Technology diploma or degree, or education in Environmental Sciences or Environmental Engineering.</span></li><li><span>Hands‑on experience with drilling programs, soil sampling, test pitting, and geotechnical field investigations.</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of soil testing, subgrade evaluation, and foundation preparation practices.</span></li><li><span>Proficiency with common industry software used for field data collection and reporting.</span></li><li><span>Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</span></li><li><span>Clear and effective English communication skills for interacting with engineers, contractors, and clients.</span></li><li><span>A valid Alberta driver’s licence and the ability to work in a fly‑in / fly‑out camp environment.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><hr><p><span><strong>Why Choose WSP?</strong></span></p><p><span>Why Choose WSP?
