    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p>Summit Interconnect - Anaheim is currently has an open position for a <u data-pasted=\"true\">Maintenance Tech (2nd shift)</u>. Summit Interconnect is a manufacturer of advanced technology printed circuit boards with a specific focus on complex rigid and rigid-flex product with unique expertise in RF/Microwave applications.</p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Summary:&nbsp;</strong>Provides production support in the Printed Circuit Board Industry ensuring that ALL manufacturing equipment at Summit facilities are maintained and optimized. Performs tasks such as HVAC/Heating and Chiller troubleshooting and repairs, Manufacturing equipment troubleshooting and repairs, Electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Preventive maintenance for ALL Equipment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong> To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of (10) years&rsquo; experience in the printed circuit board industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p><p><br><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong><br>&nbsp;1. Assess quality, determine root cause, and corrective actions in the areas of duties</p><p>assigned.</p><p>2. Responsible for optimizing ALL equipment utilization.</p><p>3. Ability to work with PLC&rsquo;s and associated accessories.<br>&nbsp;4. Maintains tools and equipment for proper calibration, function and operation per</p><p>procedures.</p><p>5. Replace or repair electrical wiring, motors, water pumps, and other integrated parts</p><p>of air conditioning/heating, chillers and production equipment.</p><p>6. Identify necessary components and materials needed to make repairs for Summit</p><p>Facility or equipment.<br>&nbsp;7. Performs daily maintenance on specified equipment.</p><p>8. Responsible for overall maintenance of facility which may include painting, patching, tile, sweeping, mopping, plumbing and any other facility needs as directed by Manager.</p><p>9. Cut and drill holes in floors, walls and roof to install needed equipment using power</p><p>tools.</p><p>10. Create and maintain inventory log and equipment making sure all equipment is</p><p>always organized and accounted for.</p><p>11. Maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures,</p><p>rules, and safety regulations.</p><p>12. Assure safety standards are used which comply with Company, Local, City, State</p><p>and Federal guidelines.</p><p>13. Responsible for requesting required materials, supplies and equipment parts from</p><p>Manager.</p><p>14. Special projects and other responsibilities may be assigned.</p><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><p><br>&nbsp;1. High School Diploma. College/Trade schooling is a plus.</p><p>2. Must have Electrical and Electronic Controls knowledge including PLCs used in the Printed Circuit Board Industry.</p><p>3. Mechanically inclined and experience with various maintenance shop tools and</p><p>testing equipment.</p><p>4. Must be able to work on all types of ladders at recommended safe heights.</p><p>5. Have the strength, agility and endurance to work in restricted spaces and/or on top of</p><p>Equipment.</p><p>6. Must have sufficient lung capacity to perform job duties with Personal Protective</p><p>Equipment (i.e. Gas Mask).</p><p>7. Must be able to lift 75lbs (may be required to lift pumps, motors and material with or</p><p>without assistance).</p><p>8. Must own set of basic hand tools.</p><p>9. Capable of sufficiently interpreting Electrical wire diagrams and schematics for the</p><p>use of troubleshooting failures or to make modification as needed.</p><p>10. HVAC experience is a plus.</p><p>11. Willing to take ownership of responsibilities that are assigned and have a</p><p>willingness to be a team player and help where needed.</p><p>12. Welding all types of materials is a big plus with the use of - TIG, MIG,</p><p>Oxy/Acetylene Torch, Electrical Arc, Hot Air Plastic Welding.</p><p>13. Must be able to work safely with hazardous chemicals</p><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>ITAR Compliance Notice&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p>This position requires compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
