Read meters as required for field order and on schedule for cycle billing</p><p></p><p>2.) Install, remove, change disconnect, and reconnect meters</p><p></p><p>3.) Test single phase, network, and polyphase self-contained meter for proper operation and accuracy</p><p></p><p>4.) Program meters</p><p></p><p>5.) Perform Credit and Collections related order including disconnect and reconnect for non-payment</p><p></p><p>6.) Investigate irregular usage</p><p></p><p>7.) Investigate energy diversion</p><p></p><p>8.) Repair meters, meter sockets, and meter enclosures</p><p></p><p>9.) Order, receive, ship, store, and inventory meter and associated equipment</p><p></p><p>10.) Investigate self-contained service power quality problems, install event recorders, neutral testers, and produce reports</p><p></p><p>11.) Perform work from ladders and elevated platforms</p><p></p><p><b>What You&#39;ll Need:</b></p><p>Associate degree in electrical/electronic technology, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience of four years. Qualified backgrounds include substation, metering, instrumentation, controls, power systems, or electrical maintenance, with demonstrated hands-on experience in testing, troubleshooting, and working with electrical equipment. Examples include roles such as Meter Specialist, Meter Technician, Field Network Technician, or substation field personnel, as well as comparable military or industrial technical training.</p><p></p><p>Required License(s)/Certification(s) are listed below: State Driver License. Work independently under semi-direct supervision in a safe-efficient, and productive manner Proficiently use computers and applications related to this position.
