You will lead a team of 15 to 80 hourly quality control, manufacturing, warehouse, or traffic associates with varying levels of experience, along with possibly salaried exempt associates. You will be responsible for optimizing operational efficiency, driving cost reduction initiatives, maintaining food safety and regulatory standards, and developing a high-performance team. We strongly prefer candidates with a solid regulatory and quality background, including experience with PCQI, HACCP, GFSI. Alchemy system knowledge is a plus.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties/Responsibilities</strong></p><p>- Lead operations across production, packaging, warehousing, and shipping.<br>&nbsp;- Perform item releases, record reviews, and revise SOPs and production documents.<br>&nbsp;- Conduct sanitation and safety monitoring throughout the facility.<br>&nbsp;- Maintain and manage required team training and supporting documentation.<br>&nbsp;- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP and GFSI.<br>&nbsp;- Provide support and documentation during audits.<br>&nbsp;- Identify root causes and drive corrective actions (RCA).<br>&nbsp;- Maintain accurate inventory and reduce waste.<br>&nbsp;- Motivate, coach, and develop team members.<br>- Collaborate cross-functionally and lead improvement projects.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong><em><u>Qualifications</u></em></strong></p><p><strong>Education/Training/Certifications:</strong> - Bachelor&#39;s degree or equivalent experience required<br>&nbsp;- PCQI, HACCP, GFSI experience preferred<br>&nbsp;- Alchemy system experience is a plus&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Related Experience</strong>:&nbsp;</p><p>- 2+ years in manufacturing leadership, preferably food/beverage<br>&nbsp;- Experience with audits and regulatory compliance</p><p><strong>Knowledge/Skills Experience:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards<br>&nbsp;- TPM or Lean Manufacturing experience<br>&nbsp;- Proficient in Microsoft Office<br>&nbsp;- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills</p><p><strong>Travel Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Travel between sites within Alamance County.</p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Standing</li><li>Walking</li><li>Sitting</li><li>Use of hands, fingers</li><li>Reaching with hands and arms</li><li>Climb and balance</li><li>Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl</li><li>Talk and hear</li><li>Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more)</li><li>Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)</li><li>Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point)</li><li>Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><em><strong>Alamance Foods Inc.</strong> is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against persons because of age, race, color, creed, religion, disability, gender, ethnic or national origin, or veteran status.
