          "text": "<p>The Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and<br>\nmaintaining the company's fleet of heavy-duty diesel trucks and commercial trailers. This<br>\nrole involves performing preventative maintenance and complex mechanical and electrical<br>\nsystem repairs to ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently in compliance with<br>\nU.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Occupational Safety and Health<br>\nAdministration (OSHA) regulations.</p><p>Perform preventative maintenance inspections (PMIs) and routine maintenance,<br>\nincluding oil changes, checking fluid levels, and DOT inspections.<br>\nDiagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using computer diagnostic<br>\nequipment.<br>\nRepair and/or replace malfunctioning components or parts, including engines,<br>\ntransmissions, brake systems (air brakes), steering mechanisms, and suspension<br>\nsystems.<br>\nConduct safety checks and perform all necessary repairs to ensure vehicles are<br>\nroadworthy and meet state and federal DOT inspection standards.<br>\nCommunicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and sometimes drivers<br>\nto discuss repair plans and provide updates on vehicle status.<br>\nComplete all work orders and related paperwork accurately, maintaining detailed<br>\nrecords of all maintenance and repairs performed on each vehicle.<br>\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company and industry<br>\nsafety standards and environmental policies.</p>",
