    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><em><span style=\"color: #231f20; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Tower Technician II</span></em></span><span style=\"color: #231f20; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #231f20; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">is knowledgeable and proficient in aspects of tower top and civil installations, with attention to all jobs being completed with high quality, safety, and efficiency. This position will install, inspect, or maintain the tower, rooftop, and other cell site apparatuses, as required by various client requests. The position’s mission is accomplished through the performance of some or all of the following functions or tasks:</span><span style=\"color: #231f20; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\"><br><br></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"color: #2d2d2d; font-size: 13px;\">Skills and Experience:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #231f20; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\"><br>- Installation, replacement, and troubleshooting of wireless equipment based on direction from the Foreman and Construction Manager.<br>- Perform all tasks in a safe manner, ensuring the safety of self and crew by adhering to work practices outlined in the Health &amp; Safety Manual.<br>- Lead by example, demonstrating an attitude of safety, cost control, asset management, and professionalism to all indirect supervision.<br>- Manage, inspect, and maintain personal protective equipment, including climbing harness, protective headgear, climbing devices, and necessary safety equipment, and complete daily log.<br>- Follow daily preparation and planning, by the foreman, to enable efficient travel to the project location and performance of duties at the project location.<br>- Manage assets/equipment such as vehicles, phones, computers, cameras, harnesses, and safety equipment.<br>- Utilize email and telephone as preferred means of corporate communication.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #231f20; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\"><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Minimum Requirements:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #231f20; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"></span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #231f20; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">3-4 years of current experience in conducting similar type communications tower work (with no restrictions to obtain authorized climber certification) </span><span style=\"color: #231f20; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\"><br>- Possess an Authorized Tower Climber/Rescuer COMTRAIN certificate (or equivalent)<br>- Willingness to travel 100% of the time.<br>- Ability to climb Cell Site structure = 500’<br>- Able to successfully complete the pre-employment process (Background Check, Drug Test, and clean MVR driving record).<br>- Must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds on a regular basis without assistance.<br>- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.<br>- Availability to work irregular hours and/or respond to emergency call-outs on a 24-hour basis.<br>- OSHA 10/30 certification. Must be able to communicate fluently in English.<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #231f20; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\"><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Physical Demands:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #231f20; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\"><br>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.<br>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to climb cell site structures = 1500’.<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Work Environment:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #231f20; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\"><br>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction project locations. The noise level in the work environment and project location can be loud.
