    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p>Brown Jug is a premium retailer of wine, beer, and spirits. &nbsp;We offer a great place to work, with a friendly atmosphere and energetic work environment. &nbsp;We provide our customers with convenience, selection, and top-notch service! &nbsp;The Supervisor will provide support to management of a multimillion-dollar business unit, with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience, understand customer needs, instill a customer mindset within the store, participate in stocking and merchandising of store, and ensure store is stocked and ready to serve our customers.</p><p>This position will assist the Brown Jug Fairbanks Warehouse store (278) located at 599 Harold Bently Ave, Fairbanks 99701.</p><p><strong>Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):</strong></p><p><strong>People Management Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Customer service driven, friendly, and willing to talk to all customers</li><li>Promote a work culture that makes your store an inviting place to work</li><li>Be a role model who supports and inspires fellow team members</li><li>In absence of management, delegate tasks to team members and set priorities</li><li>Communicate in a clear and concise manner to team, participate in huddles/meetings, relay pertinent information</li><li>Provide guidance to team members while supporting management initiatives</li></ul><p><strong>Customer Offering:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Deliver exemplary customer service</li><li>Utilize the 5 Non-Negotiables: &nbsp;Greet, Engage, Build, Add-on, and Thank</li><li>Greet customers when they enter the store</li><li>Generate sales by educating, advising, and suggesting products to every customer</li><li>Maintain a high level of service and product knowledge by completing all training within required timeline</li><li>Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service in absence of management, and ensure management is informed of all customer complaints</li><li>Assist customer from store and/or offer car service when appropriate</li></ul><p><strong>Day-to-Day Operations:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ensure all merchandising and pricing guidelines are followed</li><li>Ensure store is clean and presentable and action any maintenance issues</li><li>Execute merchandising programs</li><li>Manage communication (mail, email, voicemail)</li><li>Maintain inventory levels and stocking</li><li>Actively increase product knowledge</li><li>Set daily tasks for the store, Huddle, Daily Checklist and Sales Tracker</li></ul><p><strong>Financial:</strong></p><ul><li>Complete customer transactions on the Point-of-Sale (POS) device, including payment</li><li>Understand the POS system and all transactions that may arise</li><li>Ensure all cash handling policies and procedures are adhered to</li><li>Ensure all opening and closing procedures are done correctly</li><li>Complete daily reports</li><li>Ensure safe is always locked and deposits are secured</li><li>Strive to make daily goals</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Available to work a varied retail schedule, including evening and weekends</li><li>Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds</li><li>Able to stand for an extended period</li><li>Comfortable climbing ladders</li></ul><p><strong>Employees have the following basic rights:</strong></p><ul><li>Right to refuse unsafe work</li><li>Right to participate in the workplace health and safety activities through the Health and Safety Committee (HSC) or as a Worker Health and Safety Representative</li><li>Right to know, or the right to be informed about actual and potential dangers in the workplace</li></ul><p><strong>Employees responsibilities include the following:</strong></p><ul><li>Employees must work in compliance with OHS acts and regulations</li><li>Use personal protective equipment and clothing as directed</li><li>Report workplace hazards and dangers to your manager or Health and Safety Representative</li><li>Report all accidents and incidents immediately to their manager and document accordingly</li><li>Report all broken or damaged equipment to your manager and document accordingly</li></ul><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer<br></strong>Afognak Native Corporation and Afognak&rsquo;s direct and indirect subsidiaries, partnerships, joint ventures and affiliates to include Alutiiq, LLC;
