The role will focus on developing standard practices, driving accountability, and ensuring consistent high-quality engineering output.</p><p><strong><u> </u></strong></p><p><strong><u>RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><ul><li>Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers responsible for project execution, design reviews, and BOM accuracy.</li><li>Oversee technical drawing submittals, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and internal standards.</li><li>Drive adoption and improvement of standardized engineering documentation (drawings, BOMs, tools).</li><li>Facilitate communication and coordination across regions/plants to improve execution and eliminate inefficiencies.</li><li>Champion root cause analysis and lead the implementation of corrective and preventative actions for technical issues.</li><li>Collaborate with senior leadership to identify talent needs, training opportunities, and succession planning.</li><li>Support new product development, type testing programs, and plant-to-plant product transfer initiatives.</li><li>Monitor and improve team performance metrics related to project timelines, quality, and throughput.</li><li>Foster a high-performance culture that values accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.</li><li>Act as technical escalation point for project challenges and customer concerns.</li><li>Proven leadership experience managing technical teams in a manufacturing or engineered-to-order environment.</li><li>Demonstrate strong project management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of busway products, design for manufacturing, and UL product compliance (preferred).</li><li>Expertise in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD), PDM systems, and ERP platforms (IFS experience a plus).</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to drive resolution across cross-functional teams.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.</li><li>Ability to prioritize workload, delegate effectively, and maintain performance under pressure.</li><li>Familiarity with BIM tools (Revit) and 3D model integration is a plus.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree) in engineering-related field (Minimum) </li><li>Minimum 3 years of project management experience required (busbar preferred)</li><li>Experience in design of low voltage switchgear or busway (preferred)</li><li>Hands-on experience with AutoCAD (preferred)</li><li>Knowledge of relevant UL codes and standards (UL857, NEC preferred)</li><li>Familiarity with type testing, thermal analysis, and short-circuit studies for power distribution equipment.</li><li>Good planning and organization skills.</li><li>Team player</li><li>Strong willingness to share knowledge and/or experience </li><li>Ability to listen and be open to other ideas.</li><li>Ability to show a proactive attitude.</li><li>Offers advice and proposes solutions when risks/ opportunities arise.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>History of successful cross-site or international collaboration, especially in a matrixed or global organization.<br /> </li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0cm\"><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p><ul><li>HND or degree in Engineering, 5+ years of product experience.</li><li>Deep technical subject matter expertise in power distribution and Busbar products. </li><li>Managerial skills are necessary to plan, measure, and motivate people to continuously improve their output and personal growth.</li><li>Exceptional communication skills and ability to build diverse relationships internally and externally.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0cm\"><strong><u>PHYSICAL &amp;
