These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Adjuster Supervisor</strong></p>\n<p>Elizabeth, NJ</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation Includes</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Starting Pay Rate of <strong>$22 - $25/hour</strong>   </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Overview</strong></p>\n<p>Responsible for adjusting Merchandise, Grocery or Sack paper bag machines, and supervising Machine Operators and Utility persons.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assure all work performed is completed in a safe manner with all production crews following Safety/ Housekeeping Procedures</li>\n <li>Work with Production Shift Supervisor and HR to direct Machine Operators, and Utility persons to achieve the highest possible manufacturing performance</li>\n <li>Assure Machine Operators are following all Quality/Inspection programs</li>\n <li>Make Machine set-ups and order changeovers</li>\n <li>Adjust and repair machines as needed</li>\n <li>Complete daily production reporting</li>\n <li>Monitor Production Crews work/break schedules</li>\n <li>Request Disciplinary action</li>\n <li>New Employee training</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or GED</li>\n <li>Production experience in a manufacturing environment</li>\n <li>Machine Operator manufacturing experience</li>\n <li>Solid Mechanical aptitude is a must</li>\n <li>Ability to review manufactured product and determine equipment adjustments required to achieve desired Quality and Production standards</li>\n <li>Ability to provide clear instructions and clearly communicate in writing and verbally</li>\n <li>Ability to perform basic math functions </li>\n <li>Self-directed time management skills</li>\n <li>Normal vision with regard to color</li>\n <li>Bi-lingual is a plus</li>\n <li>Should be familiar with unionized environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lifting; a minimum of 50 lbs. </li>\n <li>Carrying; a minimum of 50 lbs. </li>\n <li>Pulling; 2 hours </li>\n <li>Pushing; 3 hours </li>\n <li>Reaching above shoulders </li>\n <li>Walking; 8 hours </li>\n <li>Standing; 8 hours </li>\n <li>Kneeling; 4 hours </li>\n <li>Bending; 6 hours </li>\n <li>Climbing;6 hours </li>\n <li>Operation of forklift, scissor lift, or other vehicle </li>\n <li>Visual ability </li>\n <li>Ability to distinguish color. </li>\n <li>Hearing ability </li>\n <li>Reduces the impact of plastic and paper on the environment through recycling and increased recycled content. </li>\n <li>Sets a high standard of industry leadership and corporate citizenship. </li>\n <li>Creates meaningful benefits for the environment and the community. </li>\n <li>Facilitates environmental action by retailers and the community. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<h2>What You'll Get From Us</h2>\n<h3>Benefits</h3>\n<p>With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
