This includes administrative services, financial management, park operations, and recreation programs. The General Manager serves as an ex-officio member of the Greater Vallejo Recreation District Park, Open Space and Recreation Foundation and fulfills the roles of Chief Financial Officer and Risk Manager for the District.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>In addition, the General Manager coordinates activities and fosters collaborative partnerships with public agencies, community organizations, and stakeholders, while providing highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Board of Directors.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The Board of Directors seeks a candidate with strong General Manager and financial expertise; direct parks and recreation experience is not required.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>If you are interested in this opportunity, please complete the GVRD application, and submit a cover letter and resume.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This position is open until filled.
