    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Element has an opportunity for a <strong>Materials Coordinator</strong> at our Cambridge lab. This role manages the flow of materials, customer requirements, quality measures and work instructions throughout the project.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Element Cambridge is a full-service materials testing laboratory offering advanced capabilities in corrosion testing, chemical analysis, mechanical testing, stress rupture, metallurgical analysis, and failure investigation. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>If you are not currently authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship, Element Materials Technology will not consider your job application. Any candidate must be lawfully eligible to work in Canada as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.</strong></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Pay range $20-22/hr CAD</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Receive and Login customer materials following Element internal procedures</li>\n <li>Perform technical review of routine orders, with order templates, following Element internal procedures</li>\n <li>Build and review Order Specifications as needed to process Customer orders</li>\n <li>Perform primary point of contact responsibilities directly with client contacts and follow up regularly on production forecasts and new work</li>\n <li>Process revised reports for orders as needed</li>\n <li>Maintaining qualifications and proficiency</li>\n <li>Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives including 5S and</li>\n <li>Operational Excellence</li>\n <li>Support the development and implementation of process monitoring to reduce of lead time, reduce of waste, and to meet or exceed customer expectations</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills / Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as purchase orders, test methods, industry testing specifications, part blueprints, drawings, flow charts, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals</li>\n <li>Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization</li>\n <li>Experience in interpreting testing procedures and requirements</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel) and general computer use of internet</li>\n <li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs.
