          "text": "<p>EDMO’s summer team members spend 6 weeks of summer connecting with kids, honing leadership skills, and making a real impact - all while rocking wacky costumes and getting pied in the face! Our summer positions offer a unique opportunity to help kids uncover hidden talents and dive deeper into existing talents. Spend your summer pursuing your goals and developing invaluable, transferrable professional skills (including staff hiring, management, and coaching).</p><p>Leading up to camp, Site Directors hire and train camp staff. Once summer begins, Site Directors are responsible for operational oversight pertaining to their assigned location. In addition to a full time summer component, this job includes a part-time spring component that includes training, hiring, and preparation for running camp.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p>Main duties include:</p><ul><li>Participating in any pre-camp training, professional development, or in season meetings</li><li>Managing all aspects of EDMO daily operations for your on-site location</li><li>Hiring, training and managing a team of Instructors and Counselors&#xa0;</li><li>Providing high caliber customer service by anticipating and addressing any kid, staff or parent challenges and/or concerns</li><li>Communicating with parents as needed, to make sure they are up to date on what their kids are experiencing at camp</li><li>Ensuring all staff, campers, and parents are safe and have a positive experience in our program - this includes diligently following all EDMO Covid-19 guidelines and restrictions</li><li>Setting up and packing up camp, making sure that all needed materials are received and that anything necessary is returned at the camp’s closure</li><li>Managing host locations and relationships, making sure that locations and partners are treated with respect</li><li>Exhibiting the EDMO Vibe and demonstrating through actions and words each of the social emotional learning (SEL) skills of empathy, responsibility, initiative, collaboration, problem solving and emotion management, while also reinforcing these qualities in staff and kids</li></ul><p><em>Reports to: Region Manager</em></p><p><em>Manages: </em><em>Site Assistant and a </em><em>team of Instructors and Counselors</em></p>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>Required:</p><ul><li><strong>Must have high school diploma or the equivalent</strong></li><li><strong>Must be at least 18 years old</strong></li><li><strong>Must have passed the County Aide Proficiency test OR have 48 college units OR have an AA degree or higher or agree to take our Instructional Assistant Exam</strong></li></ul><p>If you are missing any of the qualifications listed below, please don't be discouraged!
