    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Tier One Technologies is seeking MAS 9 (IBM Maximo Application Suite 9) Application Suite Consultant for a multi-year project with our direct US Government client. </li>\n <li>This onsite part-time position will be located in Beltsville, MD.</li>\n <li>Must be a US Citizen.</li>\n <li>SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The candidate is expected to advise on the following topics:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Best practices in MAS 9 usage.</li>\n <li>How to generate monthly reports and other outputs from MAS 9.</li>\n <li>Coordination of MAS 9 application / database maintenance activities with BARC IT.</li>\n <li>Collection, identification, and analysis of requirements for further improvements to MAS 9.</li>\n <li>Assistance with implementation of MAS 9 improvements.</li>\n <li>Providing recommendations in setting long-term development objectives for MAS 9.</li>\n <li>Support with expertise regarding MAS 9 implementations, e.g., by sharing lessons learned, dos/don’ts, best industry practices, standard roadmaps/templates etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field is recommended.</li>\n <li>10+ years of experience in:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Installation, upgrade, and patching of MAS 9 System </li>\n   <li>WebSphere Application servers </li>\n   <li>IBM MAS 9 Asset Management applications development </li>\n   <li>Applications Designer </li>\n   <li>Automation Scripting </li>\n   <li>Conditional UI </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Working knowledge of MAS 9 integration technologies (Object structures, services, channels, etc.). </li>\n <li>Deep knowledge/understanding of MAS 9 business objects.</li>\n <li>Ability to formulate complex SQL queries.</li>\n <li>Security and authentication protocols – LDAP.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of EAM best practices and deep functional expertise with MAS 9 applications.</li>\n <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills. </li>\n <li>Must be US Citizens and be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance.</li>\n <li>Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.</li>\n <li>Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 years. Military Service excluded.</li>\n</ul>",
