Show Room Sales Associate – Part Time Location: Microtech Knives Store, Mills River, NC Pay Rate: $20.00/hour Hours: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week - Saturdays are a must About Microtech Knives Microtech Knives has been a leader in precision cutlery since 1994. We are known worldwide for our uncompromising commitment to quality, innovation, and craftsmanship. At our Mills River retail store, we showcase our products directly to the community and offer customers the opportunity to experience the craftsmanship that defines Microtech. Position Overview We are seeking a friendly, professional, and reliable Retail Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service, enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, and is interested in knives, outdoor gear, or sporting goods. This role is part-time, averaging 20 hours per week, with flexibility available up to 25–30 hours per week for the right candidate. Responsibilities Greet customers, provide knowledgeable assistance, and ensure an excellent shopping experience. Maintain a thorough understanding of Microtech’s products and share product knowledge with customers. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system. Assist with merchandising, restocking, and maintaining the store’s cleanliness and appearance. Support store events, promotions, and product launches. Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency. Qualifications Previous retail or customer service experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work independently. Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy. Must be dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling.
