Must have reliable transportation.&nbsp;</p><p>Local travel and overtime required.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Perform all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks providing instructional training to customers</li><li>Continual training of equipment and resources necessary to perform the functions of the department</li><li>Attend Branch and Technical Service meetings scheduled by Service Manager or Branch Mgr.</li><li>Consistently deliver excellent customer service experiences by offering knowledge, advice, and answering questions and concern</li><li>Manage excellent vendor relationships by providing timely communications, problem-solving, and site visits key suppliers when necessary</li><li>Coordinate with VP of Sales and Sales Representatives to provide excellent customer support</li><li>Diagnose errors or technical problems by visual and auditable inspection of machines and determine proper solutions</li><li>Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to and resolve issues</li><li>Diagnose, install, and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers and wiring, electrical, electronic components of machinery and equipment</li><li>Produce timely and detailed service reports</li><li>Monitor work procedures, work schedules, and expedite workflow</li><li>Create and submit a completed expense report each month</li><li>Assist with office / warehouse needs as time permits</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Education and/or Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>&nbsp;A minimum 3-5 years of experience in machinery and conveyor equipment experience is required.</li><li>High school diploma or its equivalent is required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Competencies:</strong></p><ul><li>&nbsp;Exceptional customer service and must be people-oriented with the ability to build business relationships</li><li>Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite, Allen Bradley or equivalent PLCs, smartphones, and tablets</li><li>Local travel and overtime required</li><li>Minimal overnight travel required</li><li>Dependable transportation required, valid driver&rsquo;s license, and proof of insurance</li><li>Familiarity with scheduling and expediting the turnaround time on service calls</li><li>Analytical, problem solving, business analysis, and project management skills</li></ul><p>&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Why work at Associated Packaging, Inc.?</strong></p><p><strong>Longevity</strong> - Associated Packaging, Inc. has been providing packaging solutions for companies since 1977.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Stability</strong> - Even during times of recession and economic uncertainty, Associated Packaging, Inc. has remained financially strong and experienced tremendous growth.</p><p><strong>Customer Service</strong> - We focus on partnering with our customers to find and maintain the best solution possible for their packaging needs.
