Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties at any time. </em></p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><ul><li>Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including sub-assembly and product final assembly, calibration and test.&nbsp;</li><li>Works with engineers to provide definition of test set-up and calibration tasks.&nbsp;</li><li>Performs rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.&nbsp;</li><li>Utilizes automated test programs to evaluate product performance against specifications and to collect data demonstrating product performance.&nbsp;</li><li>Reviews data and adjusts the product &lsquo;select at test&rsquo; components to ensure compliance with requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Utilizes a variety of test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, drawings, schematics and operating or repair manuals.&nbsp;</li><li>Debugs/Rebuilds manufacturing/test equipment as required. &nbsp;</li><li>May perform product modifications as directed by manufacturing/test engineers.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assembling and tuning RF or microwave components and prototype systems.</li><li>Using network analyzers, power meters, and signal generators to diagnose and fix circuit or component failures.</li><li>Modify equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and schematics.</li><li>Dismantle, adjust, repairs, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.</li><li>Correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components.&nbsp;</li><li>Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing or testing process.</li><li>Compiles and records test results. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.</li><li>Utilizes automated test programs to evaluate product performance against specifications and to collect data demonstrating product performance.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years&rsquo; experience or trade school and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.</li><li>Must have a solid understanding and working knowledge of RF test equipment such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF generators, digital oscilloscopes, frequency meters and Power meters.</li><li>Must have solid understanding of analog and digital troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Ability to read schematic diagrams and other engineering documentation required.</li><li>Good soldering techniques and able to do solder rework using a microscope.</li><li>IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620 certifications desired.&nbsp;</li><li>Previous experience with LabView and ability to write ATE programs to control Test equipment and receivers a huge plus.</li><li>This individual must be hands-on, decisive, and able to get things done in a small company environment</li><li>Team-oriented attitude.</li><li>ESD Awareness.</li><li>Must be able to pass a preemployment drug screening and background check.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Formal training or experience working with RF receivers in the miliary is preferred.</li><li>Computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</li><li>Experience with manufacturing organization for government contracts is highly preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with ISO requirements, OSHA and Safety procedures.</li><li>ERP experience.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>Salary Range: $$26.50 - $31.50/Hourly</p><p>Onsite in Sparks, MD with a 9/80 schedule.
