    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Position Title: &nbsp;<br>Maintenance Technician</p><p>Pay Rate:&nbsp;<br>$30.70 to $35.24</p><p><br>Category/Shift:&nbsp;<br>Hourly Full-Time (2nd shift 3pm-11pm – M-F; 3rd shift 11pm-7am M-F)</p><p>Physical Location:&nbsp;<br>Eighty-Four Box Facility<br>10 Wilson Road<br>Eighty-Four, PA</p><p>We currently have an opening for a 2nd and 3rd shift Maintenance Technician at our Eight-Four Container Plant in Eighty-Four, PA. This facility manufactures corrugated packaging products for local and national customers. The position requires the candidate to have a strong knowledge of lubrication, hydraulics, welding, pneumatic, electrical and electronic technologies.</p><p>The Job You Will Perform:&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Practice safe work habits at all times.&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Utilize both excellent mechanical skills and knowledge (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearing, power transmission, lubrication)<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must have a basic knowledge of PLCs, A/C, motors and drives, schematics in our continuous process manufacturing environment to achieve machine uptime metrics<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Work positively with maintenance and operations teams to troubleshoot and solve problems<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Engage in preventative maintenance processes in assigned areas<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;On-the-job success in safety, attendance and quality of work<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problem solving skills<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Willingness to fully cross-train in other technical areas to enhance capabilities<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Willing and able to work flexible shifts and weekends are required<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Able to work with computer system for maintenance processes and work orders<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with Company guidelines.&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Willingly work all necessary hours and shifts.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Help maintain good housekeeping in work areas.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Additional duties may be assigned by management.</p><p>The Skills You Will Bring:&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. &nbsp;Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate. &nbsp;Able to apply concepts of high school math.&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. &nbsp;Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The individual must have a working knowledge of the following:&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation. &nbsp;&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Product layouts and production specifications&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Product quality specifications&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Quality standards<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License and/or other appropriate certification to work in certain areas or on certain equipment.&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job. &nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. &nbsp;The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel;
