This role will have a strong focus on Rope Access Industrial Services (RAIS) activities throughout the Pacific region, as well as supporting the NDT service line and other industrial trades.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You will promote a culture that prioritizes safety and quality, ensures reliable service, and reduces organizational risk. By championing world-class programs with clear, measurable objectives, you will help embed safety, operational excellence, and compliance into all aspects of our work.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a pivotal role for someone ready to make a meaningful impact on both people and performance across multiple service lines in the region.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Details:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> Richmond, BC</p>\n<p><strong>Start Date:</strong> Immediately </p>\n<p><strong>Shift/Rotation:</strong> Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.</p>\n<p><strong>Salary Range:</strong> Up to $90,000 - $120,000/year, depending on experience and certifications.</p>\n<p><strong>Requirements/Relocation: </strong>Candidates must be local to the area or willing to relocate. </p>\n<p>We can offer temporary accommodations to assist with your relocation transition if your experience meets the requirements for this role.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Supporting the delivery of effective regional safety programs by:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensuring delivery of Pacific Region HSE strategy that aligns with corporate-wide HSE programs and objectives;</li>\n <li>Assisting with the implementation of control and monitoring measures related to HSE performance;</li>\n <li>Management, leadership, development, and oversight of in-region HSE personnel including performance reviews and HSE resource scheduling;</li>\n <li>Develop and implement HSE policies including rope access safety policies and procedures to be followed on various industrial sites including but not limited to lead/asbestos abatement, CSE, high-angle work, etc.;</li>\n <li>Performing regular field safety audits at all work-sites and offices in region;</li>\n <li>Providing leadership in the investigation of all safety incidents and providing direction for the disposition of corrective actions in a timely manner; </li>\n <li>Participating in the design and implementation of special programs to correct adverse safety performance trends; </li>\n <li>Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions and suitable work practices;</li>\n <li>Providing safety oversight and coaching during shutdowns and other site based work programs;</li>\n <li>Assisting the General Manager towards completion of prioritized health, and safety action items;</li>\n <li>Participating in the delivery of regional safety training initiatives and KPIs with regular (monthly) reporting.</li>\n <li>Oversee and manage the fleet’s GPS-enabled video telematics system — integrating road and cab-facing cameras and telematics data — to monitor vehicle location, driver behavior, and performance; deliver actionable insights and reports; and support supervisors in enforcing policy, coaching drivers, and improving safety outcomes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reinforcing compliance with, and understanding of, safety programs by:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Educating staff regarding Acuren’s Integrated Management System requirements and goals across the region; </li>\n <li>Effectively coaching others to increase their safety knowledge and compliance;</li>\n <li>Conducting audits as per pre-determined schedule to provide confirmation of adherence to Acuren’s IMS;</li>\n <li>Participating as directed in internal and external system audits (client, registrar, accreditation body and suppliers); </li>\n <li>Identifying critical safety awareness aspects for each work area and delivering training to employees; </li>\n <li>Other work duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial or construction environment.</li>\n <li>The position requires post-secondary education in occupational health and safety.</li>\n <li>Certified Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) required.</li>\n <li><p>Certified Registered Safety Technician (CRST) considered an asset.</p></li>\n <li>IRATA Level certification not required, considered an asset.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>The strength of Acuren lies in its outstanding people. Appropriate use of PPE is as necessary.
