Position Summary Seeking a Regional HSE Manager for the Pacific region to lead and drive health, safety, and environmental programs across our operations. This role will have a strong focus on Rope Access Industrial Services (RAIS) activities throughout the Pacific region, as well as supporting the NDT service line and other industrial trades. You will promote a culture that prioritizes safety and quality, ensures reliable service, and reduces organizational risk. By championing world-class programs with clear, measurable objectives, you will help embed safety, operational excellence, and compliance into all aspects of our work. This is a pivotal role for someone ready to make a meaningful impact on both people and performance across multiple service lines in the region. Position Details: Location: Richmond, BC Start Date: Immediately Shift/Rotation: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. Salary Range: Up to $90,000 - $120,000/year, depending on experience and certifications. Requirements/Relocation: Candidates must be local to the area or willing to relocate. We can offer temporary accommodations to assist with your relocation transition if your experience meets the requirements for this role. Responsibilities Supporting the delivery of effective regional safety programs by: Ensuring delivery of Pacific Region HSE strategy that aligns with corporate-wide HSE programs and objectives; Assisting with the implementation of control and monitoring measures related to HSE performance; Management, leadership, development, and oversight of in-region HSE personnel including performance reviews and HSE resource scheduling; Develop and implement HSE policies including rope access safety policies and procedures to be followed on various industrial sites including but not limited to lead/asbestos abatement, CSE, high-angle work, etc.; Performing regular field safety audits at all work-sites and offices in region; Providing leadership in the investigation of all safety incidents and providing direction for the disposition of corrective actions in a timely manner; Participating in the design and implementation of special programs to correct adverse safety performance trends; Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions and suitable work practices; Providing safety oversight and coaching during shutdowns and other site based work programs; Assisting the General Manager towards completion of prioritized health, and safety action items; Participating in the delivery of regional safety training initiatives and KPIs with regular (monthly) reporting. Oversee and manage the fleet’s GPS-enabled video telematics system — integrating road and cab-facing cameras and telematics data — to monitor vehicle location, driver behavior, and performance; deliver actionable insights and reports; and support supervisors in enforcing policy, coaching drivers, and improving safety outcomes. Reinforcing compliance with, and understanding of, safety programs by: Educating staff regarding Acuren’s Integrated Management System requirements and goals across the region; Effectively coaching others to increase their safety knowledge and compliance; Conducting audits as per pre-determined schedule to provide confirmation of adherence to Acuren’s IMS; Participating as directed in internal and external system audits (client, registrar, accreditation body and suppliers); Identifying critical safety awareness aspects for each work area and delivering training to employees; Other work duties as assigned. Requirements A minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial or construction environment. The position requires post-secondary education in occupational health and safety. Certified Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) required. Certified Registered Safety Technician (CRST) considered an asset. IRATA Level certification not required, considered an asset.
