RS&H is expanding with a new office in Las Vegas, and we’re seeking an Airfield Engineer to assist with civil technical design for airport projects including contributing to a brand-new commercial airport, the first of its kind in the U.S. since Denver International Airport nearly 30 years ago.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a rare opportunity to make history while enjoying the autonomy to influence local operations and help shape the culture of a new office, aligned with RS&H’s core values of Integrity, Accountability, Curiosity, and Teamwork.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why This Role Stands Out</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Historic Scale:</strong> Work on a multi-billion-dollar, nationally visible aviation project.</li>\n <li><strong>Innovation at the Forefront:</strong> Influence cutting-edge airfield design and planning solutions.</li>\n <li><strong>Unmatched Support:</strong> Backed by RS&H’s national aviation team—the #6 ranked aviation design firm by ENR and designer of the most recent new runways in the U.S.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>\n<p>As a key member of the Infrastructure team, you will:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead civil design for airfield projects and serve as a technical expert.</li>\n <li>Prepare project specifications, complete project documents, engineering analyses, and reports.</li>\n <li>Analyze and interpret data; perform design, planning, and impact studies; and support cost analyses, site selection, and limited design layouts.</li>\n <li>Design complete projects, systems, components, and processes.</li>\n <li>Perform quality control reviews and ensure key milestones are met.</li>\n <li>Conduct field reviews and observations on active construction sites.</li>\n <li>Provide technical guidance, assign tasks to junior staff, and help build and mentor a growing team.</li>\n <li>Manage discipline-specific tasks or small, multidisciplinary project teams to ensure contractual compliance and project success.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>To be successful in this role, you must:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Hold an engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\n <li>Be a Professional Engineer (PE) in good standing.</li>\n <li>Have strong knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.</li>\n <li>Be proficient in production software and construction document development.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate the ability to resolve challenging issues professionally and effectively.</li>\n <li>Have experience working on major projects or multiple mid-sized projects, reviewing technical work of others, and contributing to new processes, services, or standards.</li>\n <li>Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, team members, and stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Hybrid work flexibility</li>\n <li>Relocation assistance and potential signing bonus</li>\n <li>Opportunity to help establish and grow a new RS&H office</li>\n <li>Support from RS&H’s national aviation team and extensive network of resources</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If this sounds like the role for you and you're ready to join an amazing team, please apply.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Click Here for Full Benefits Information</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>An Equal Opportunity Employer.
