    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p>As a Resident Inspector you will be a key member of the Bryant Construction Management Team in our Boston, MA office, where you will inspect of job sites for a wide range of public and private sector clients, to enable their successful completion. Work will be done in support of our multi-disciplinary Survey, Engineering (Site/Civil, Structural and Traffic) and Construction Management firm. Projects are located throughout the State of Massachusetts and mostly consist of water and sewer pipeline and treatment plants but may also include traffic and roadway projects.</p><p>The Resident Inspector will perform on-site inspection of water/storm water, and/or roadway/civil-site work jobs. Work is carried out with considerable independence and requires thorough knowledge of appropriate construction practices and codes.</p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</strong>(other duties may be assigned)</p><ul><li dir=\"auto\">Coordinates work with the contractor</li><li dir=\"auto\">Observes all phases of construction activities for compliance with design documents and client standards</li><li dir=\"auto\">Documents work as performed</li><li dir=\"auto\">Reviews contractor requisitions for payment</li><li dir=\"auto\">Prepares daily reports and attends progress meetings</li><li dir=\"auto\">Manages quality and safety of projects and ensures schedules are met</li></ul><p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li dir=\"auto\">Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions based on engineering design criteria</li><li dir=\"auto\">Familiarity with trench dewatering, backfilling and compaction of utility trenches and pavement/surface restoration</li><li dir=\"auto\">Good written and oral communication skills</li><li dir=\"auto\">Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and construction documents for desired infrastructure rehabilitation, replacement and upgrades</li><li dir=\"auto\">Detail oriented</li><li dir=\"auto\">Problem solver</li><li dir=\"auto\">Strong interpersonal skills. Able to build and maintain strong relationships with contractor and staff</li><li dir=\"auto\">Solid project management and organizational skills</li><li dir=\"auto\">Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li dir=\"auto\">Desire to work in a team environment</li><li dir=\"auto\">Observes and enforces company and client safety requirements</li><li dir=\"auto\">Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and ability to pass a driving record check</li><li dir=\"auto\">Ability to pass a drug test</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</strong></p><ul><li dir=\"auto\">High School diploma or equivalent</li><li dir=\"auto\">5+ years of related experience with water and sewer construction projects</li><li dir=\"auto\">Opportunities for different levels of experience</li><li dir=\"auto\">OSHA 10-hour Training and Confined Space Entry certification beneficial.
