With headquarters in Wisconsin and regional offices in the states of Colorado, Florida, and Ohio, Hooper provides a wide range of services to support commercial and residential clients.</p><p><br></p><p>The Mobile Truck and Equipment Mechanic will troubleshoot repairs, and maintains industrial trucks, trailers, wire pulling, and construction equipment used for electrical construction projects in Hooper’s service area.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Principal Accountabilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge of major truck systems including diesel and gas engines, and ability to diagnose problems, make repairs, and perform preventive maintenance</li><li>Knowledge of hydraulic systems and electrical schematics</li><li>Ability to operate a variety of equipment including dozers, backhoes, skid steers, and cranes</li><li>Familiarity with FMCSA and DOT inspection requirements and regulations</li><li>Ability to operate basic shop tools including welders, cutting torches, and air tools</li><li>Ability to fabricate with steel</li><li>Complete detailed written repair orders accounting for labor and parts</li><li>Familiarity with basics of Microsoft Word and Excel</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact positively with field staff and management</li><li>Keep logs and records of all maintenance functions</li><li>Understand and practice workplace safety.</li></ul>",
