Coordinates incoming and outgoing referrals for office visits and diagnostic testing. Obtains insurance authorization prior to visit. Requires general knowledge of specified procedures, insurance authorizations, and other related functions.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED</u></strong></p>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of Medical terminology</li>\n<li>Two years of previous medical related scheduling experience</li>\n<li>Demonstrated organizational and communication/customer service skills</li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge and skill in utilization of computer application </li>\n<li>Demonstrated problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Ability to type 40 words per minute </li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with individuals in all levels of responsibility.</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently.</li>\n<p><strong><u>KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED</u></strong></p>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the use of a computerized scheduling system</li>\n<li>Three years of previous medical related scheduling experience</li>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Work Hours:</h2>8-5",
