    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Shermco Industries is seeking a highly experienced Embedded Electrical Engineer / Project Manager to support a major automotive manufacturing facility in Spring Hill, Tennessee. This individual will serve as the primary on-site engineering and maintenance coordination resource responsible for electrical infrastructure planning, outage coordination, safety leadership, and execution oversight for critical power distribution systems.The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial electrical systems, substation and switchgear maintenance planning, outage management, electrical testing coordination, and client-facing project leadership. This role is a long-term embedded assignment supporting ongoing facility reliability, electrical safety, and infrastructure maintenance initiatives.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead recurring electrical maintenance planning activities</li>\n <li>Coordinate advanced electrical services resources and subcontractor support</li>\n <li>Manage testing documentation, drawings, maintenance records, and report control</li>\n <li>Lead outage LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) planning and verification activities</li>\n <li>Develop outage site switching procedures and backup power plans</li>\n <li>Lead pre-outage review meetings and coordination sessions</li>\n <li>Lead outage execution activities while ensuring safety and compliance requirements are met</li>\n <li>Coordinate and oversee LV switch maintenance activities</li>\n <li>Serve as the primary interface between the customer, Shermco engineering teams, and supporting field resources</li>\n <li>Provide project management oversight for planned electrical maintenance and reliability initiatives</li>\n <li>Support long-term electrical infrastructure planning and continuous improvement efforts</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience</li>\n <li>Minimum 7–10 years of experience in industrial electrical systems, power distribution, or utility/substation environments</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical distribution systems, outage coordination, and electrical safety procedures</li>\n <li>Experience managing planned outages, switching procedures, and LOTO programs</li>\n <li>Demonstrated project management and client coordination experience</li>\n <li>Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work embedded full-time at a customer manufacturing facility</li>\n <li>Experience supporting automotive or heavy industrial manufacturing facilities</li>\n <li>Familiarity with relay testing programs and protective relay systems</li>\n <li>Experience with transformer maintenance programs and transformer oil sampling</li>\n <li>NETA, PMP, PE, or related industry certifications</li>\n <li>Experience coordinating multi-discipline electrical maintenance contractors</li>\n <li>Familiarity with electrical reliability and preventive maintenance programs</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p>\n<p>This position represents a strategic long-term customer support role with significant growth potential for expanded engineering, electrical services, and reliability work within the facility.
