    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Responsible for the management of the warehouse/materials distribution department during shift while ensuring a safe, secure, organized and efficient operation. In collaboration with multiple support departments, the supervisor is responsible for ensuring and maintaining an environment that provides for the efficient and effective flow of their respective departments.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains day-to-day communications with department supervisors and managers</li>\n <li>Initiates communication and problem solving with regard to customer concerns </li>\n <li>Assists in recruiting new employees, administration of HR policies and procedures including safety, performance evaluations, employee training & development</li>\n <li>Train new hires & existing employees on all warehouse functions, including the enforcement of safety procedures in accordance with company policies & procedures</li>\n <li>Keeps management informed of all operational issues </li>\n <li>Prioritize, schedule and delegates assignments to staff and monitors progress </li>\n <li>Ensure quality and productivity standards are being met by staff </li>\n <li>Ensure proper maintenance and usage of all equipment and supplies </li>\n <li>Compiles weekly and monthly statistical data to be used by Manager for reporting </li>\n <li>Manage budget and control expenses effectively </li>\n <li>Assists with staff payroll, site billing, and service enhancements</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>May perform any of the following functions</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Handle hazardous materials</li>\n <li>Prepare manifests for departing shipments. Review and sign off on all outgoing manifests and equipment departing</li>\n <li>Monitor & oversee the time-sensitive and accurate sequencing, picking, shipping & or receiving of all merchandise & materials, including ensuring the quality of all inbound & outbound products</li>\n <li>Responsible for development/monitoring of KPI's & implementing continuous improvement opportunities</li>\n <li>Communicates with manager, customer and suppliers concerning load & material issues & status, serving as liaison to communicate load, plant, routing issues or concerns between employees at facility & customer & or supplier</li>\n <li>Receives items within CBPS’s receiving procedures and shipping procedures</li>\n <li>Performs material receiving accuracy check</li>\n <li>Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventory</li>\n <li>Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>HS Diploma or GED required</li>\n <li>Minimum 7 years’ experience working in a warehouse or distribution related field</li>\n <li>Minimum 5 years supervisory experience within a warehouse or distribution related field</li>\n <li>Computer literate and working knowledge of Windows based programs</li>\n <li>Experience using Microsoft Excel creating charts, reports, and spreadsheets</li>\n <li>ERP/WMS Systems Working Knowledge Experience Required</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize and multitask</li>\n <li>Ability to work well in teams</li>\n <li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Forklift certification per OSHA standards preferred</li>\n <li>Must be willing to work flexible hours if needed including evenings and weekends</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Occasionally lifting and/or moving of up to 50 lbs., repetitive motion, walking, or operating equipment</li>\n <li>Occasionally reaching, pushing, pulling carts weighing up to 250lbs</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p>\n<p>Competitive pay & benefits!</p>\n<p>Comprehensive training and development programs that prepare employees to advance from within.</p>\n<p>A company focused on creating a positive work and client environment.</p>\n<p>Employee discounts on entertainment, products, and services nationwide!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Come Join Our Team!</strong></em></p>",
