Everyone matters here.</span></p><h1><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Position Summary:</span></h1><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Oversee consolidation of shipments for accuracy and to the degree of providing input relative to freight costs, urgency of expediting requests, carrier selection and cost versus service issues. Act as a liaison between transportation and other departments and distribution centers. Oversee Freight Payment to all Domestic Carriers.</span></p><h1><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">What will you do?</span></h1><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><em>The Shipping Supervisor will primarily be focused on customer order building and direct to consumer shipments. This includes:</em></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Supervises assigned shipping employees in the performance of daily tasks, evaluates changing priorities in response to customer&rsquo;s request, reassigns resources as appropriate</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Review&nbsp;daily&nbsp;consolidations&nbsp;to&nbsp;ensure&nbsp;proper&nbsp;handling&nbsp;of&nbsp;expediting&nbsp;requests,&nbsp;optimum&nbsp;carrier/route selection and maintenance of expected customer service information.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Level&nbsp;load&nbsp;case&nbsp;pick&nbsp;requirements&nbsp;to&nbsp;optimum&nbsp;levels&nbsp;for&nbsp;DC&nbsp;operations.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Point&nbsp;of&nbsp;contact&nbsp;(POC)&nbsp;for&nbsp;all&nbsp;operational&nbsp;needs&nbsp;&ndash;&nbsp;internal&nbsp;and&nbsp;external&nbsp;customers&nbsp;(will&nbsp;up-channel issues to the appropriate level).</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Review&nbsp;routings&nbsp;to&nbsp;ensure&nbsp;proper&nbsp;carrier&nbsp;assignment.&nbsp;Create&nbsp;manual&nbsp;shipments/&nbsp;delivery&nbsp;due&nbsp;lists&nbsp;when appropriate. Ensure ship sure requests are processed in a timely manner.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Carrier issue management with internal and external customers.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ensure adequate truckload capacity in trailer pools, both DC&rsquo;s.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Generate&nbsp;data&nbsp;and&nbsp;metrics&nbsp;for&nbsp;EOM/EOQ&nbsp;reporting.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Expedite&nbsp;and trace shipment(s) as necessary.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Provide&nbsp;directions&nbsp;to&nbsp;carriers&nbsp;to&nbsp;initiate&nbsp;expediting&nbsp;activities&nbsp;and&nbsp;determine&nbsp;course&nbsp;of&nbsp;action&nbsp;for shipments to customers which are late.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Daily&nbsp;Invoice&nbsp;Management&nbsp;in&nbsp;Blu&nbsp;Jay&nbsp;TMS&nbsp;System&nbsp;to&nbsp;pay for&nbsp;all&nbsp;Domestic&nbsp;Transportation&nbsp;Vendors Create reports and Spreadsheets upon request using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Maintains good housekeeping conditions in working areas.
