This position operates and regulates wastewater treatment plant equipment to assure continued operation of the City Brewery&rsquo;s wastewater treatment plant and associated facilities.</p><p><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Observes equipment operation for proper functioning and to record readings, including devices for atmospheric gases.</li><li>Monitors entire treatment process including removal of foreign material, operating de-gritting equipment, and operating mechanical sludge handling equipment.</li><li>Operates effluent odor control equipment and automatic samplers.</li><li>Collects samples for analysis and take appropriate action based on results.</li><li>Performs minor/routine equipment repairs and assists maintenance staff as needed.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Minimum Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational/technical training in wastewater treatment plant operation/equipment preferred. Will consider combination of education and experience which provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.</li><li>Demonstrated mechanical aptitude including strong troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Ability to complete confined spaces training and pass respirator clearance exam.</li><li>Demonstrated motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.</li><li>Ability to operate equipment and machinery requiring complex and rapid adjustments, such as valves, equipment controls, hoist, pumps, blowers, sampling equipment, common hand tools, gas meter, and protective equipment.</li><li>Ability to work in an environment with exposure to strong chemicals, odors, gases, and irritants with proper training and provided PPE.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Benefits/Compensation&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p>City Brewery provides a competitive salary and benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Life, and Long Term Disability Insurance; Section 125; 401(k); and more.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><em>City Brewery is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all applicants will be considered without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status.</em></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n<br/>Overnight hours 6pm-6am, alternating days, including every other weekend.
