This position is open to <strong>Certified Medical Assistants (CMA)</strong>, <strong>Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)</strong>, or <strong>Registered Nurses (RN)</strong>. We even offer pet insurance for your four-legged family members.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Early access to earned wages with Daily Pay, tuition reimbursement to help further your career and adoption assistance to help you grow your family.   </li>\n</ul>\n<p>With a collective goal to champion a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and respected, we honor the ways people are unique and embrace what brings us together.   </p>\n<p>And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience. </p>\n<p>Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures</li>\n <li>Room patients, record patient histories, vital signs, and document in the electronic health record (EHR)</li>\n <li>Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per scope of licensure</li>\n <li>Educate patients on health, medications, and follow-up care</li>\n <li>Coordinate referrals and patient care follow-ups</li>\n <li>Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Valid and current licensure/certification in the state of Iowa as one of the following:</strong></li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Registered Nurse (RN) – Iowa Board of Nursing – Active/Unencumbered RN license in state of practice</li>\n  <li>OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Iowa Board of Nursing – Active/Unencumbered LPN license in state of practice</li>\n  <li>OR Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) accredited program plus a certification from one of the following required: </li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>National Healthcare Association </li>\n   <li>American Association of Medical Assistants </li>\n   <li>National Center for Competency Testing </li>\n   <li>National Certified Medical Assistant  </li>\n   <li>National Association of Health Professionals </li>\n   <li>American Registry of Medical Assistants </li>\n   <li>American Allied Health </li>\n   <li>American Medical Technologists</li>\n  </ul>\n </ul>\n <li>Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred</li>\n <li>Familiarity with EPIC is a plus!</li>\n <li>For positions within UnityPoint Clinic, team members may be required to work at or to float to other locations to support optimized staffing</li>\n</ul>",
