Overview Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking a Constructability Review Specialist to join our Facilities Sector. The Constructability Review Specialist will support project planning and design by reviewing the scope, schedule, and interim housing requirements in the Project Requirements Document. Provides value engineering input early in design, reviews deliverables to identify inconsistencies or gaps, and ensures coordination across design disciplines. Conducts constructability reviews of pre-bid documents and collaborates closely with the Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative to minimize RFIs and change orders. Performs additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities Assists in defining and reviewing the Project Requirement Document scope of work andschedule, including interim housing requirements Makes value engineering recommendations at the outset of the design Comments on the design professional’s deliverable, identifying inconsistencies, ambiguities,conflicts, errors, and omissions in the progress plans to reduce RFIs and Change Orders Ensure documents are coordinated between design disciplines. Prepares a comprehensive constructability review of pre-bid construction documents Coordinates the above efforts with the Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representativein a collaborative way Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications 15 years’ full-time professional paid experience with an Architecture degree and the following: 10 of those years must be acting as a Construction Administrator 5 years remaining must be acting as a Designer. Construction Administrator experience shall be on a public/educational facility construction project with full responsibility for supporting those projects. Projects shall have a construction value of $8M or more for a single project or with a combined cumulative project value of $80M. OR 15 years of experience as a Project Superintendent or Project Manager on a public/educational facility construction and/or large commercial projects with full responsibility for coordinating complex projects with a construction value of a single project in excess of $30M, with a combined cumulative project value of $400M.
